Clovis Electric

Clovis Electric operates as a local electrician crew right in Clovis, TX. They focus on electrical work for homes and businesses across the area and keep crews ready around the clock for emergency calls. Homeowners in this part of Texas deal with extreme heat that can overload older wiring and sudden weather shifts that knock out power, so having a crew that shows up without hiking rates on weekends or holidays fits the practical needs here. They run straightforward electrical repairs and installations that keep daily life moving without long interruptions.

The crew handles outlet and switch repairs when connections fail from daily use or age, works on electrical panels and breakers to restore power after trips or upgrades, installs EV chargers for folks adding electric vehicles, runs outdoor lighting and conduit for yards and driveways, puts in ceiling fans along with indoor lighting fixtures, sets up GFCI outlets for safety in wet areas, wires pools and spas, and connects appliance circuits so kitchens and laundry rooms stay functional. They show up with the tools to trace issues on the spot, replace worn parts, and test everything before leaving so the fix lasts through the hot summers and occasional freezes that hit this region.

Customers in Clovis value electricians who respond quickly when power drops and who keep costs in line with the job at hand rather than padding bills. Quality shows in clean work that avoids callbacks, and steady communication helps when plans shift mid job. The 3.15 score reflects solid performance on speed and price for the fifteen reviews logged so far, though some note room to improve on follow through for bigger panel jobs. “We had an issue with the smoke alarms in our home early on a Sunday morning and had to take two of the nine down. My wife called Clovis Electric, and the owner came out on Sunday afternoon and looked at the issue and took down one alarm that is 14 feet up. Our existing alarms had reached the end of the 10-year life of the batteries and are hard wired into the system. The owner ordered replacements and installed nine new alarms. He provided excellent service and is very knowledgeable. The work was also very completive in price and was less than I expected for nine new alarms and installation.”

“Arrived quickly, explained problem, explained corrective action. Approachable and friendly service with great pricing. No extra charge for weekends!”

“This company did an amazing job rebuilding our electrical panel for us. He was quick and the best price I could find. No extra charge for the weekend or night call. Awesome.”

“Answered my call on a Sunday, came out swiftly, fixed my electrical problems for a reasonable price, and was a delight to talk to - you don't find service this good much anymore!”

“My wife and I attempted to contact this company because they advertised as 24 hours. The first night we called him he said he had no openings the next morning; I work swing shifts so it has to be in the morning. I said I'd call back again to schedule another appointment the following day. I called the company again and the same man answered the phone. He sounded as though he was sleeping and when I told him I was the person that called yesterday and I wanted to schedule an appointment he said, "No I don't think think ya know what ya want." He gave me grief about calling him late even though he advertises as a 24 hour business. Then when I tried to explain I work swing shifts he cut me off and said, "find someone else to do it." Then promptly hung up on me. The lack of professional integrity displayed here is why I am posting this review, and why I will recommend against this company at every opportunity given.”
