Ernco Electric Inc

Ernco Electric Inc works as electricians out of Clovis, Texas. They focus on getting power where it needs to go in homes and properties around the area. Based right there in town, the company handles the kind of electrical demands that come with Texas weather, from keeping systems running through hot months to sorting out issues after rough storms. Homeowners in Clovis turn to them for straightforward electrical help without any runaround. The team brings experience to every job, whether it's basic repairs or bigger setups in local houses that have seen years of use. Clovis residents deal with unique challenges like dust and heat affecting electrical components, so having a crew familiar with the locale makes a difference.

They take care of installing new wiring in homes getting updates, replace old breaker panels that can't handle modern loads from air conditioners running full blast in the summer, and fix problems like flickering lights or outlets that stop working. In Clovis, common calls involve checking systems after power surges from thunderstorms or making sure barns and outbuildings have safe electrical setups for equipment. The electricians show up with the tools to diagnose issues on the spot, run new lines where needed, and leave the place in order without leaving a mess behind. They work on both quick fixes and full electrical overhauls for older properties that need bringing up to code, often dealing with the extra wear from constant heat and occasional high winds that hit the region.

Customers keep coming back because the work gets done right the first time and holds up against the demands of daily use in Clovis homes. Folks mention how the crew responds fast when something goes wrong, explains what needs fixing in plain terms, and charges a price that matches the effort without surprises. The quality shows in jobs that don't require callbacks, and the communication stays open from start to finish so everyone knows what's happening. This approach builds trust with locals who need reliable electrical service year after year. DIRT Score 4.43 from 24 reviews on Finds.

“Great customer service by Ernco! Ernie's a professional electrician that got the job done quickly and efficiently. He was courteous on returning a call that missed prior to the service and we arranged for a re-schedule the next day. I was left with a great impression of his company and would use their service again when needed.”

“My spouse and I had Ernie and Matt do electrical work on our house (adding/replacing several fans, some custom light fixtures), and we're happy to recommend them - they are professional guys who are easy to work with. They started when we'd scheduled, and finished the work on time and for the initial estimate. 5/5, would hire again.”

“Great, fast friendly service. Uriah was excellent, came on time, did a great job and was courteous and friendly. I highly recommend.”

“Absolutely the sweetest people! I had a prong stuck in my outlet and had no idea the route to go to get it out without electrocuting myself. They walked me through it step by step on a 10+ minute phone call in order to get it out safely and avoid any expensive visits! Totally alleviated a stressful situation! Thank you so much Ernco Electric! Greatly appreciate it!”

“I needed an electrical outlet installed urgently and Ernie made time for me literally an hour later. He came out and had his team install the outlet exactly where I needed it, but while he was installing the outlet, he and his guys noticed some issues with the drywall and studs, so they fixed that while they had the wall open just to help me out. It took them a lot of extra time but they didn't charge me extra. While we were talking, I mentioned another electrical issue I am having (which 5 other electricians so far have not been able to solve) and he did some troubleshooting work at no additional charge while his guys were fixing the drywall and studs. Just about the nicest, most generous guys. AND he found a junction box that is very likely the cause of the other issue I've been dealing with for 2 years (floating neutral -- potentially dangerous). Very glad I called Ernco!”
