About

Chambers County Electric operates as an electrician crew based in Conroe, Texas. They take on electrical contracting work across commercial offices, large industrial sites, institutional buildings, and regular residential properties throughout the region. With decades of hands-on experience, the crew has handled everything from full new construction projects to basic wiring repairs in homes. Their reach includes spots around Tyler, Longview, and other East Texas locations where power systems need steady attention. The outfit runs with certified electricians who manage jobs from start to finish while keeping an eye on timelines and costs.

The team shows up for power restoration calls and light repairs that pop up at odd hours. One customer had lights go out late in the evening and found Jeff LeDoux already pulling in to get them working again without delay. They deal with outages that hit homes in Conroe, where weather and utility lines cause frequent issues, and they focus on getting systems back online through straightforward troubleshooting on panels and connections. Jobs range from simple residential fixes to bigger commercial setups, with crews responding to calls about sudden power loss or wiring problems that affect daily routines. Homeowners in the area often face these disruptions, so the electricians stick to practical steps that match the job at hand.

Customers point to mixed results on speed when outages drag on without clear updates and note problems with reliability on repeat calls. Quality holds in some cases where technicians like Jeff LeDoux arrive ready to work, yet communication falls short when plans change without notice and price questions come up around service calls. Reviews show frustration with how often power drops for no clear reason and the lack of follow through on promised fixes. DIRT Score 1.66 from 171 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

I am extremely disappointed with Entergy’s customer service. I called twice and was assured that my electricity would be turned on Friday. After making plans based on that information, I was suddenly told that because of maintenance and the fact that they don’t work weekends, my power won’t be restored until Tuesday. This is completely unprofessional. If there was a possibility of a delay, that should have been communicated from the beginning instead of giving customers false expectations. I have children, and being left without electricity for several extra days is not only incredibly inconvenient but also inconsiderate. Families depend on reliable service, especially in this heat. I expected much better communication and customer service from a company providing such an essential utility. I hope Entergy takes accountability for how situations like this are handled and works to improve communication with its customers.

People are winning about them been bad and always not doing a good job to restore power. I live in Conroe and have power outages and its not that bad and if it is then its more serious then it usually is. They do there best to provide a good service to all and if yoy think they don't go try do it yourself better then. Thank you guys for doing your best to provide power to our house, may God bless you and your families.

Would give 0 stars but I guess 1 will have to do. They’re not reliable, I feel like every month maybe multiple times a month my power goes out. And it’s mostly for no reason too, I don’t get a notification or anything. Today the power went out of course, my boyfriend and I both have work and had to leave our dog home in the heat. I hope the power gets turned on for the scheduled time it’s suppose to, I can’t have my dog at home alone in the heat that’s really messed up. If I could go with a different power company I would but sadly y’all are the only ones around the Conroe area… Do BETTER Entergy!!

We had some issues with our lights and we were not expecting them to be able to turn them on being it was 930 at night but when we returned from our sons baseball Jeff LeDoux was there already about to pull in and start working on turning them back on. We have never dealt with such an amazing man. He was so sweet and even opened the gate for my husband as we came in. He is truly a gentleman and a hard working man and I really hope that he gets accompanied for it. What an amazing worker. Thanks for everything you do!

Entergy has been one of the most unreliable utility providers I’ve ever dealt with. Storm or no storm, the power would go out—sometimes for a full day, sometimes two. It became a regular issue, not an exception. When you work from home, this is a serious problem. Lost power means lost income, and there’s zero accountability or compensation for that. You’re just expected to deal with it. What makes it worse is that despite the frequent outages, the bills are still extremely high. Paying premium prices for unreliable service is frustrating and unacceptable. If I had the option to switch to a different provider, I absolutely would. Reliability matters, and unfortunately, Entergy has consistently fallen short.
