About
James R Vancourt Ii works as an electrician out of Conroe, Texas. He handles residential electrical needs for local homeowners who face the realities of living near the Houston area. High heat and humidity take a toll on wiring and equipment while sudden storms knock out power or damage panels. This setup means calls often involve older homes with outdated breakers or new builds that need proper grounding to meet code. Vancourt focuses on straightforward electrical tasks that keep lights on and appliances running without adding extra layers to the job.
Electricians in this spot deal with installing new circuits for air conditioning units that run hard through the summer along with replacing outlets that fail from constant use or moisture. They trace shorts in attics where insulation hides problems and upgrade service panels when homeowners add rooms or workshops. Work often starts with testing voltage at the box then moves to pulling wire through walls without tearing up finished spaces. Customers in Conroe run into issues like flickering lights after heavy rain or breakers that trip during peak afternoon loads so the response centers on locating the source and restoring power the same day when possible.
Feedback on this electrician shows average marks across speed and communication with some jobs completed on time while others stretch longer than expected. Quality of the actual repairs holds steady in most cases but price complaints appear when materials run higher than quoted. Homeowners note decent results on basic fixes yet want clearer updates during larger projects. DIRT Score 3.35 from 209 reviews on Finds.

“I had an appointment at one I always arrive early. Tell me why at 3 I still haven’t been seen by the dr and the patient advocate said he had an hour long appointment he just started and another appointment after that before he can see me. Everyone I talked to even staff members said this is a daily occurrence. This is how the Va treats a veteran my dog gets better care at a vets office. I’m truly ashamed to be a vetern”
“I had a great experience with the Hearing Aid folks AND ALL THE PEOPLE in the staff!......many people will complain so quickly but will not COMPLIMENT as easy. My compliments to ALL THE STAFF at this location. I think at the root of the complaints may be something we don't talk about enough in this country. Just saying. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!! EVERYONE!”
“Clinic visit. New nurse (never saw her before, black female) excellent. Dr Go, as usual extremely efficient and thorough. Hope she stays in the VA and doesn't go private practice!!”
“My experience with Dr. Adusumilli was very disappointing. I felt that she was dismissive and spoke to me as if I were a child, in a demeaning and unprofessional manner. During my appointment, she questioned a medical condition that I was diagnosed with while on active duty and for which I have undergone multiple procedures. When I attempted to explain my medical history and provide additional context, I was interrupted and told to stop talking. I expected to feel heard and respected during my visit, but unfortunately that was not my experience. On a positive note, the women at the front desk were very kind, helpful, and professional throughout my visit”
“What a great facility and to know our tax dollars are well spent like this place. Located on the 3rd and 4th floor, the Conroe location is a very nicely build facility for our VETS. Staff were amazingly professional and very fast with checking in. Nurses and technicians were true champions on their duties. Thank you Conroe VA. Highly recommended if you live north of FM 1960.”
