About
Goldmon And Sons Electric Llc operates as an electrician crew based in Converse, Texas. They handle the wiring and power jobs that homeowners and businesses run into throughout the area. From routine fixes to bigger upgrades that keep systems running safe and up to code, the outfit stays busy with the electrical demands that come from local houses and shops. The crew knows the rules in Converse that require licensed hands on any real wiring or panel work to avoid insurance problems or worse. They focus on practical solutions for the common electrical loads in Texas homes and small commercial spots where heat, storms, and growth push systems hard.
They roll out for calls about sparking outlets, burning smells in walls, or a breaker panel that buzzes and trips too often. Jobs include shutting off the main breaker right away on emergencies, running new circuits for added appliances, and swapping out old 60 or 100 amp panels for 200 amp service when folks add EV chargers or renovate. The crew checks for overloaded lines that cause flickering lights, pulls permits, and gets the work inspected so everything passes in Converse. They also handle after hours runs when power goes out completely or wires get exposed. Work stays within the standard hourly rates most electricians charge locally while addressing the real safety risks that come with older setups.
Homeowners note the crew shows up quick on urgent fixes, turns out clean work that stays reliable, keeps prices in line with the eighty to one hundred thirty hourly range most charge around here, and explains options without extra pressure. Reviews highlight steady communication on what each job actually needs and solid results on panel changes and emergency repairs that prevent bigger trouble. The outfit earns its marks through consistent speed on response, quality that holds up under inspection, fair pricing on upgrades, and clear talk about what the job requires before starting. What Customers Say
“April 1, 2026 approximately 3:50 pm, Hwy 87 between Adkins and Lavernia. Alderman truck 2401 lic. Plate TVS5195. The driver drove with total disregard for the law or safety of others. Driver turned in to La Vernia HEB. Called company, got a computer telling me how important my call was for 3 minutes so I hung up and went to their website to try and find an email, but all I found was a them bragging about how safety is a priority. What a joke.”
“A ladder fell off of a Alterman truck and hit the front of my truck on the highway in San Antonio. After flashing my high beams and getting the Alterman drivers attention he pulled over but then drove off leaving the ladder. I’ve initiated contact with people from safety at the San Antonio office. The incident occurred December 10,2025 and I have yet to hear back from anyone. I’ve provided photos and even helped another citizen of San Antonio remove the ladder from the highway to avoid further accidents as the Alterman electric employee drove off. I’ve attempted contact with Alterman electric to discuss the damages to my vehicle with their fallen ladder numerous times with calls, voicemails and emails and no replies.”
“Turning left from a straight Lane is toxic and incredibly dangerous. To do the same thing and a company vehicle absolutely insane. If you can't even be trusted to drive in a basic competent manner, there's no way you can be trusted with electrical services in my house or my business. Almost causing a four-car accident horrid. Avoid this company.”
“I can't speak to the quality of work, but I can say this business does not operate with integrity. One of their drivers hit my daughter and totaled her car, but lied to the police saying he was on the highway and she turned into him. In the photo I uploaded to Google also, you can see his skid marks where he CLEARLY blew through the turn lane to our subdivision and hit my daughter. Based on the drivers lies, we were found at fault and the owner refused to return my calls or emails attmepting to enlightened him/her on the type of person they have driving for them, but I guess the employee apple doesn't fall far from the employer tree .”
“Don't laugh, but I stooped by, at 6:20 am to take photos of their awesome holiday decorations.”
