“After meeting with several companies, and after considering their bids and our impressions of each company’s representative, we selected Right Choice Electrical Solutions for our project. The owner, Rudy was personable and up-front with the pricing for our project, even suggesting ways in which we could reduce the overall cost without sacrificing quality. We also felt good that we were hiring a locally owned family company. The Projects: Hot Tub Spa: We purchased a hot tub spa that required a dedicated grounded electrical line converting the 110V spa connection to a 240V connection. Fuse Box: The fuse box was original to our home build in 1982 and was no longer in code, creating the potential for a fire hazard. We needed to replace the original fuse box with a current model that was equipped to handle the greater electrical load of our home. GFCI Outdoor Electrical Outlet: Our current outdoor electrical outlet, located nearest to the new spa, was an ordinary outlet offering the potential for a dangerous or even lethal electrical shock. Installing GFCI outlets in all wet or damp locations like kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and basements are a must to meet the National Electrical Code. Not only did Rudy carefully explain the process and costs involved for each aspect of our projects but we were impressed by his sincerity and the pride he took in his work as an insured master electrician. He shared with us the cost of each component as well as the overall cost for labor. In addition, he made several suggestions that would lower the overall cost to us. In addition, Rudy’s approach to the work was more professional than several of the other electricians we had interviewed. Rudy was not satisfied with leaving ugly trailing wires on exterior walls for instance. Instead, he and his crew ran the electrical wiring through our attic and back down to where the exterior connections needed to be made, making for a much more attractive solution as well as reducing the cost associated with some of the other proposals we had received. Rudy’s company eliminated the stress and frustration that typically comes with electrical repairs and installations.
