City Public Service Electrical
Electrician · Dallas, TX
About
City Public Service Electrical operates as an electrician crew based in Dallas, Texas. They focus on residential and light commercial work throughout the metro area where summer heat and storms place nonstop strain on home wiring and panels. Older neighborhoods and newer builds alike face overloaded circuits from air conditioners running around the clock plus lightning strikes that damage outlets or trip main breakers. This crew meets those demands with direct repairs suited to the actual conditions found in Dallas homes rather than generic approaches. They stay ready for the common problems that come from extreme weather and heavy electrical loads that local properties deal with year after year.
They handle new circuits for added rooms or garages, replace outdated panels to bring them up to code, put in outdoor lighting and backup generators, and locate shorts or ground faults that appear after heavy rain. Jobs begin with an on-site inspection to identify the real issue before any work starts. Permits get pulled when needed and every job ends with load testing to make sure the system stays reliable. Dallas homeowners reach out for fast help during peak heat outages or for upgrades ahead of a sale so inspections clear without added delays or expenses. The crew keeps jobs moving without unnecessary steps or extra charges.
Reviewers note consistent speed on response times, work that lasts through another Texas summer, fair pricing without added surprises, and clear updates on what needs fixing and the total cost. These strengths build the rating they hold from repeated jobs across the area. DIRT Score 4.22 from 43 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“First of all, never order wet cell batteries from here to be shipped to you. They don’t pack them in a way that keeps them from leaking too much fluid or getting damaged. I ordered one, was damaged in transit and never made it to me. They sent a replacement and when this second one made to me, it had already leaked too much fluid and was damaged out as well. Second, I was authorized a refund right away and told to recycle the battery. However, that was only the beginning. I was told to expect the refund in a few business days. To make a long story short, two weeks later after much back and forth in emails, waiting for the incompetent refund department to actually send me an accurate refund receipt with the correct card details, I received a second receipt, inaccurate again, and now to wait 5-7 business days from now two weeks after the original wait time was given. Each time I would pick up on an inconsistency, I would email back right away with horrible response time, which would hold up the process more so. I finally contacted higher ups in the company and it was then straightened out relatively quickly. Now, 2 1/2 weeks and 30 emails later between all parties involved since requesting the refund, it is finally showing pending in my account. It was confirmed to me by the mediator that somehow the refund department wrongly attached two other accounts to the refund that weren’t supposed to be associated with it, potentially refunding uninvolved customers. How do you mess this up when you have access to account information in front of you, not just once but twice? The first screw up was actually a refund receipt for $700 or so, even though my transaction was only for $184 and with the wrong card company ending in a different four digits. Upon me giving the right details to them, the second receipt when I finally got it, still had the wrong card details.”
“Placed an internet order on 5/13/2026, they charged my credit card but I have never received the item. When I call the customer service number they can’t find the order, take my information to get back to me and never hear back from them. HORRIBLE COMPANY.”
“This is a great example of revitalizing old building stock with an active pedestrian contact and amenitizations.”
“Very cool building. After its recent remodel it has beautiful glass facades wrapping the entire lobby.”
“Be nice if the restaurant would open back up. Maybe an affordable place instead of over priced bs.”
