“The job this company did for us in McKinney was an outright mess from beginning to end. Communication was practically nonexistent, deadlines were treated like vague suggestions, and the quality of the electrical work was so poor it left us questioning whether anyone competent ever showed up. We had to chase them repeatedly just to get basic updates, and even after they claimed the job was “finished,” several issues were still hanging in the air with no intention on their part to fix them. Hiring them turned into a frustrating, time‑wasting ordeal, and we walked away feeling ignored, overcharged, and stuck with work that shouldn’t have passed even the most lenient inspection. Get multiple quotes, get everything in writing, and honestly—consider choosing someone else entirely.”

“The best electrician in DFW! Originally we wanted someone to come and check out a hot wire a plumber found when our broken sewer line was being replaced. The electrician came out, inspected our crawl space wires and couldn't find any hot wire- he suspected it was previously hot from coming into contact with water from the broken pipe, but he still took the time to insulate all wires that were missing insulation and charged a fair price. After requesting a quote for exterior outlets, which was also an extremely fair price, the electrician scheduled us in the following week and did an incredible job. He always showed up on time if not early, was extremely respectful and made efforts to be as clean as possible when working in the home. Gunnels will be the only electrician we work with while we live in DFW moving forward.”

“Wizardry, plain and simple. Who ever you're using for electrician services, fire them and hire these guys. The big box stores are going to scare-tactic, nickel and dime, and waste your time 10 different ways. Josh was like an electrical bloodhound, like something out of a movie. He mentally dissected my house, diagnosed the issue, identified the short, and repaired it out the door in 30 minutes. The Big Box guys wanted 3 times as much just to DIAGNOSE the issue, let alone 9 times as much to find it, and another 14 times as much to repair it. Mindblowing. I've never been more impressed with someone than I was with Josh. 11/10 would recommend”

“I can’t say enough good things about Gunnels Electric. They did a major project for us this week and we were happy with them every step of the way. Within the first 10 minutes of coming out a few months ago to bid the job I knew I would want them to do the work, even after they handed me the bid and encouraged me to get a second one. After what I had read and heard from others about the cost of this kind of job I already knew I probably wouldn’t be able to do better. Even if I had gotten a second bid and it was a little lower I would still have gone with Gunnels. You won’t find anyone better.”
