Verticom
Electrician · Dallas, TX
About
Verticom works as an electrician out of Dallas, Texas, handling communications projects across the city from their location on Ambassador Row. They focus on specialty contracting for data and voice networks, serving residential neighborhoods and commercial spots where homeowners need wiring and setup for cable services. The company operates trucks that roll through local areas to connect systems for providers, dealing with the kind of electrical tasks that come up in Texas heat and older homes that often need updates to handle modern connections without constant outages or signal loss.
Their work involves driving into neighborhoods to perform installs like those for Bluepeak, running lines and setting up equipment on site. Crews handle the physical side of pulling cables and mounting hardware, but reports show they sometimes sell the gear upfront and leave the job unfinished, as one customer described after multiple attempts to get the full connection done. Other accounts mention vans parked in ways that block driveways for days, with crews staying loud and refusing to shift vehicles, plus issues like a dead website listed on the side of their trucks during jobs in places like Cheyenne that echo the same patterns seen around Dallas.
Customers keep coming back to the same shortfalls in quality, speed, and price that drag down results across the board, with jobs left half done and crews acting rude to people living nearby. These patterns show up in repeated complaints about incomplete electrical work and poor handling of basic access issues, which explains the overall rating without any standout positives on communication or follow through. DIRT Score 2.29 from 17 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“We attempted to use them without the ability to ever complete install. They will sell you the product and the not complete the install.”
“If you see these trucks driving around your neighborhood, be prepared for a week or so of absolute hell. They install for Bluepeak in Cheyenne, Wyoming. They were loud, rude to residents of the neighborhood they were working in, blocked me into my driveway and refused to move several times, parked gigantic equipment in the middle of an alley way where people drive to access their houses and caused all sorts of damage to my property and the alleyway surrounding it. It was an absolute nightmare.”
“Dead website on the van???”
“Quality, speed and cost All 3 bye bye”
