“The absolute worst electric provider in Texas. They shut my auto pay off and then shut my electricity off. 4 hours after they shut my power off I receive a late notice in the mail. These people are absolute crooks I wish I could go to anybody else besides them I would pay the extra money just to get away from these criminals. I wish I could give it negative Stars.”

“Actually sat down and looked at my bill because it was 300 dollars more than normal. I’ve had the heat off for most of the month since it hasn’t been too bad outside. Usually run it during the evenings. I called. And there is an equipment charge. I’m on a fixed rate and never do we pay these except for December and January. Do we not use the same energy during these months? They are legally robbing folks because there isn’t another energy company to use in my area… do better Pentex. You have great folks that work there, but you as a company are very greedy. I feel bad for those that can’t pay.”

“They 100% take advantage of the fact that we have no other choice for service provider. They are charging me (who did not live in this house or this area during the freeze last year) because the people who lived here before me used power Pentecost had to pay extra for and they will disconnect your power if you are 5 days late, to turn your service back on - you have to pay a deposit equal to 1/6 of your predicted ANNUAL BILLING or go to prepay. For getting disconnected ONCE.”

“Everytime the wind picks up just a little the power goes out all over the area. I thought they are supposed to be checking tree limbs so branches can not fall when the wind is up. Happens way to often.”

“This is absolutely the worst electricity company I've ever used. They do not make you aware of additional costs, until you have no option of having to pay them. They also charge more to have regular service than using the flex pay options which shows you how much you use per day. I would never use this company unless you have no alternative. If i could give a negative rating I would.”
