CP Electrical Contractors

CP Electrical Contractors handles electrical work in Driftwood, TX and the nearby Austin area including Round Rock and Cedar Park. Ramiro Garcia started the company in 2015 after working 17 years as a licensed master electrician on field jobs and project supervision. The outfit takes on both residential and commercial projects with a focus on new construction and electrical systems for hospitals and healthcare facilities. They stay licensed and insured while following the National Electrical Code on every job.

Customers bring them in for breaker box installs, subpanels in garages, 220 volt outlets for welders and lifts, overhead lighting, kiln ovens, emergency lights, Tesla chargers, chandeliers, and wall outlets for water systems. One homeowner needed a full garage setup without tearing up fresh drywall and got clean runs for fans and speakers too. Another had an exhaust fan that two prior crews could not fix and saw it resolved on the first visit. Power loss in summer heat got a phone diagnosis that pointed the way to the utility fix, and remodel jobs included getting city power restored fast after shutdowns. Technicians named Ram, Christian, Erasmo, and Leslie show up for these tasks.

They answer calls quickly and often start work the next day or on weekends when needed. Reviews note fair pricing that gets explained upfront, clear answers to questions on site, and good response times across the Austin area. The shop keeps hours from 8 to 5 Monday through Saturday and stays closed on Sunday. Crews keep areas clean after finishing and take time to point out what went wrong on do-it-yourself mistakes so the same issue does not repeat.

The outfit holds a 5 star rating across 32 reviews. Reviewers keep mentioning reliable service, clear explanations, attention to detail, safe practices, and punctual arrivals on both small repairs and bigger commercial jobs.

“As the General Manager of a local restaurant, it’s such a relief to work with contractors you can truly rely on. CP Electrical Contractors are professional, easy to communicate with, and do excellent work from start to finish. They show up when we need them, they explain things clearly, and handle everything quickly and efficiently. The quality of their work really shows, and I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again or recommend them to friends and family.”

“Ramiro and his crew have been doing work for us around the shop for over 2 years now and no job has been too small or big for the company. They have installed all kinds of breaker boxes, step ups, kiln ovens, emergency lights, and over head lighting. They have always been available to start a job within a day or so after the initial quote and have even worked on the weekends to get it done. I would recommend CP Electric to any business or friend with any electrical needs.”

“We contacted CP electric at the start of the week and by the weekend the chandelier was already installed. Ramiro and his team are extremely professional, clean, efficient, and knowledgeable. We are very pleased with the job.”

“CP Electric hands down are the best electricians I have ever dealt with! I have worked with hundreds of different electricians in the past and NONE of them have ever come close to the level of professionalism and skill that CP and crew have. I hired CP it install a 100A subpanel in my home garage/shop, along with 3- 220v outlets for my welder/lift/and compressor, and 3- 110v outlets in the ceiling for fans and speakers. They took the time to get everything installed super clean without ripping out my new drywall causing me more work. I’ve never had an electrician take the time to do such a clean job. I also had them wire up some outlets in my front yard for our Halloween and Christmas decorations, AND another 50A circuit for my future hot tub. Again their work was fast clean and EXACTLY what I asked for. Lastly I had them wire 8 cat6 network drops to my eves for my IP camera system. Again they were meticulous and took the time to get everything wired super clean without causing me any patch work after the fact. I know I’ve repeated this a few times but most people don’t realize how important this is to a homeowner like myself. Nobody wants to have to do more work than necessary”

“CP Electrical recently helped us with a major remodel, where we had soooo many things done. Leslie, Ram, and all of the electricians were a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. They were professional, punctual, and excellent with communication. They truly went above and beyond all expectations and even advised us on how to get the city to turn our power back on (it had to be turned off for the remodel) ASAP when we were in a pinch. If you're searching for an honest, reasonable, and reliable electrician, look no further than these kind and wonderful folks.”

“Ram and his team are GREAT! I woke up to half my power out (including the AC) in the middle of Summer. Called around and Ram was able to answer the phone, spot diagnose the issue after a few questions, and point me in the right direction for a fix with Oncor. CP Electric are my go-to electricians from now on! Highly recommended!”
