About

Smart Energy Solar Llc works as electricians out of El Paso, Texas, handling solar power setups for local homes. They step in when panels and inverters need attention, whether it's fresh installs or repairs on systems that have been up for years. The team deals with the desert climate that beats on equipment day after day, making sure connections stay solid and power flows right. Customers reach out for fixes on components that started acting up after a year and a half or more, and the outfit has the know-how to sort through electrical issues tied to those solar arrays.

On the job they install solar panels and replace parts like microinverters when older units fail under warranty. Technicians such as Veronica, Ivan, and David show up to diagnose problems, explain what went wrong with the wiring or inverters, and get everything running again without leaving a mess. Matthew has handled warranty swaps on inverters for systems over thirteen years old, while Larry Perea stays involved to keep long-term customers satisfied even after more than a decade. They work through issues with politeness and efficiency, take the time to answer questions, clean up after themselves, and make sure homeowners understand the fixes before they leave the site.

Customers consistently note the high quality of the electrical work on solar systems and the clear communication that walks them through every repair or install, hitting top marks in those areas. Response times earn solid marks even when issues pop up on older setups, and the pricing stays fair for the level of attention given without any pushback. The whole approach shows in how technicians leave sites spotless and problems solved for good in the El Paso heat. This steady performance across hundreds of jobs builds real trust with local homeowners who need reliable solar electricians. DIRT Score 5.0 from 528 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

I had several issues with my solar components that were installed about 1 1/2 years ago. The technicians that arrived were very polite and efficient both times. I did have some issues with an issue I felt should be under warranty, but was able to work it out with the management team and they refunded my maintenance fees. I appreciate that the staff listened to my complaint and forwarded it to the appropriate people to solve the issue.

They were extremely patient, professional, and took the time to explain everything throughout the process. The team was thorough, respectful of the space, and made sure everything was cleaned properly before leaving. You can tell they care about the quality of their work and customer service. Definitely appreciate their hard work and would highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC support, mini split installation, or mini split cleaning services!

Employees are great and take care of business by taking care of the customers. Veronica, Ivan and David were great, but every time they come to fix a problem all there people or great and always fix the problem. They also explain everything that was wrong and what they did to fix it. You cannot go wrong in having this company take care of you. Thanks

I highly recommend Solar Smart Living for installation of solar panels. Larry Perea is still very hands-on and attentive, even though my panels are over 13 years old. I needed a new microinverter, which was covered under warranty. Matthew did a fantastic job. He was very professional, polite, and always on time. He stayed on top of the job until he was certain every panel was back online. Emma in the front office was easy to work with and great at scheduling appointments that fit my schedule.

I worked with Solar smart living for installation of our Solar Panels. We needed also a electrical panel upgrade and we installed too many split air-conditioning units. My husband and I had talked about this, doing it ourselves, but there is no way we could have managed what they did. Everything is coordinated with the city and the electric company to make this as smooth as possible. The entire team was very kind and helpful. They came in the morning and worked all day to get the job done. Our job included Moving the electrical panel to a different location because of the new court restrictions. The salesman, Jesus Alvarez was very thorough in explaining the process and advantages of having Solar. My husband is an electrical engineer and a lot about this so he was able to talk their lingo. We expected some glitches, but one thing I recommend if you're going to install the mini splits is to discuss with the electrician where the conduit is going to run before hand.
