What Customers Say

We worked with Sunshine City Solar through a Solar United Neighbors of Texas community solar process. Sam and his team were great - professional, on time, good communication. The planning and installation were fast, efficient, and great quality. After 1.5 years of having the solar system, we're very happy with it.

Before I committed myself to Sunshine City, I had gotten several estimates with other companies to update and modern my home with Solar Panels, after several researches and prices running from $20,000 dollars to $30,000 dollars, I was pleased with the services and prices that Sunshine City offer. Sam Silerio is very knowledgeable and he explain to me every single detail on how the Solar Panels work and the money that I will be saving every month. At this moment my Solar Panels are up and running, as the installation was completed before the schedule time. Sunshine City is also following CDC guidelines on COVID-19 sanitation precautions, as they do not have close contact with customers, and they use masks, face shields and gloves. Thank you Sam! I am very happy with my modern home and Solar Panels! Ms. Rachel Duran

Sam and his crew are the best solar installers. I had been shopping around for a bit but once I met Sam and his team I knew I had the right group for the job. He is very open and transparent about the whole process, providing a variety of financing and product options that make you realize you are really getting a custom job at a great price. Sam will go above and beyond to make sure the entire experience is above your expectations (read below for details). His team installed the system quickly and efficiently and the longest wait was for the electric company to stop dragging their feet on approving permits and installation. He did such a great job on my house that I had him and his team install solar panels on my mother-in-laws’ house. Same great service, same great result. Actually, that install was even better because Sam went out of his way to hire a plumber to help reroute a water softener that the electric company suddenly said needed to be moved (even though it had been there for years without the electric company ever requesting it to be moved). Overall, our electric bill is pennies with the full AC summer season. I’ve been so happy and pleased with this whole experience it really has made me motivated to go more green in other areas as well.

Excellent service in Las Cruces: Here's a shot of our new rooftop solar system from Sam Silerio of Sunshine Solar. We're using the ballasted roof mounts which don't require intrusion into the roof. The panels aren't really visible from ground level if that's a concern, and they lie flat enough to be safe from our high winds. Sam gave us a great price and was very helpful in navigating the tax credit paperwork. He kept us informed all the way through the installation process. I highly recommend Sam and Sunshine Solar (and solar's an even better deal here in New Mexico, considering the state tax credit and a probable better rate for the excess power you're able to sell back to EPE.

I had a great experience working with Sunshine City Solar! Sam walked us through every step of the process and was our biggest advocate when the utility delayed our connection process. My summer electric bills came way down and I’m happy to be investing those savings into my panels instead. Sam is very honest and transparent in what can be a confusing process.
