Xero Solar

Xero Solar works as electricians out of El Segundo, Texas, with a focus on solar panel systems and supporting electrical setups. The area sees long hot summers that push air conditioning loads hard and leave homes vulnerable to sudden power cuts, so these electricians handle the demand for backup power and efficient energy draws. From their base they take on residential jobs, new construction wiring tied to solar arrays, and retrofit work on older properties that need updated panels or storage. Homeowners often call when bills climb or when they want to add Tesla energy gear without overhauling the whole electrical service.

They design and put in custom solar arrays along with battery storage that keeps lights and fridges running during outages common after storms. Jobs include pulling permits, mounting panels on roofs built for Texas sun exposure, wiring inverters, and connecting Tesla units so excess power feeds back or stays stored. Crews show up with the right conduit and grounding gear, test the system end to end, and walk the owner through the meter and app setup before they leave. In practice this means handling both straightforward residential installs and larger commercial retrofits where Title 24 rules or local incentives come into play, all while keeping the existing electrical panel safe and up to code.

Electricians like these earn solid marks when they show up on time, finish without callbacks, and keep costs in line with what the job actually requires rather than padding for extras. Reviews point to clear explanations about battery performance in heat and straightforward quotes that match the final bill, plus solid workmanship on the wiring that holds up through summer peaks. That record of steady results on speed, quality, price, and communication adds up. DIRT Score 4.05 from 22 reviews on Finds.

“"no news is good news" until you don't have power for your AC in the middle of a heat wave... XeroSolar's team did not hesitate whatsoever to respond to our call for help when our building was experiencing "brown outs" last week. Ben & Nate immediately rearranged their schedules to attend to our crisis. They were professional, thorough & patient in evaluating the problem that ended up having nothing to do with the solar panels they installed. They truly stand behind their system in all scenarios!!!”

“We made our last major payment to Xero over 9 months ago and we still do not have our permission to operate our solar. Making matters worse, we have never had any proactive communication from the team throughout months of delay. After my last call with our account manager she committed to: 1) share all the communications that led to the delay in permitting and 2) have the owner contact me. Neither happened. Very frustrating experience. We’ve had the solar installed since last August. We’ve had the certificate of occupancy for over a month. But still we get no benefit from our solar generation, only the cost of the equipment.”

“The entire solar panel and electrical install team took their time, painstakingly plotting each course of action; were neat, tidy and meticulous in every aspect of their work. They had incredible attention to detail! Every single piece of rigid conduit, outlet bodies, j-boxes, flex and wire was where it was supposed to be and exact. For these guys the phrase “good enough” just isn’t in their vocabulary. And each and every one of them is the nicest of guys. This also goes to my project manager and office staff at xero Solar. They were incredible helpful and ready with any question that I came up with. I couldn't be happier!”

“Xero Solar came in with an affordable plan that has been in place now for over a year!!! We had a great experience working with Riley and the Xero Solar Team. They kept us informed of the timing of things, and it was a very prompt and efficient installation process. We are happy with the results and savings in our utility bills. Yes, its an investment....but when you do new construction you are required to install solar, so embrace the Solar!”

“Installation was timely and professional. They were easy to contact with any questions and the quality was excellent.”
