Hill Electric Inc

Hill Electric Inc works as electricians out of Farmington in the Northwest Arkansas region. They have handled electrical projects across residential and commercial properties since 2002, with a steady focus on new construction wiring and upgrades to existing systems. The company takes on both small home jobs and larger business builds, along with home automation setups that integrate lighting and controls. Local weather patterns bring frequent storms and high humidity that can stress wiring and panels, so their experience with those conditions helps homeowners avoid repeated outages or safety issues common in the area.

Electricians from the company handle commercial lighting installs, full wiring for new residential builds, and fixes for code violations that inspectors flag during renovations. They also set up home automation systems that connect outlets, switches, and security features without major rewiring. In Farmington, crews often deal with older homes that need panel upgrades to meet current loads from air conditioning and appliances, while new builds require running circuits through attics and crawl spaces exposed to heat and moisture. They respond to service calls for tripped breakers or flickering lights caused by weather damage, and they coordinate with builders to keep projects on schedule during the busy construction season.

Customers note reliable response times when power problems arise, solid work that passes inspections on the first try, and clear explanations of costs before any work starts. Reviews highlight fair pricing on both small repairs and full commercial jobs without surprise fees, plus steady updates during longer projects so homeowners know what to expect. The team earns repeat business by showing up prepared and finishing without cutting corners on safety or materials. DIRT Score 4.7 from 116 reviews on Finds.

“I have had them out to my business two times now to install new lighting and run new wiring. Every person I’ve met with/talked to has been very kind, professional, and easy to work with. A wonderful company with great people, 10/10 recommend!”

“Hill Electric Company did exactly what they said they would — and did it well. They quoted three improvements for our Walk Your Plans NWA studio: adding outlets, evaluating an in-floor solution, and installing additional lighting in our conversational area outside the projection floor. While we ultimately passed on the in-floor option, the additional outlets were installed, set up, and tested professionally on day one. The lighting install took a bit longer due to the size of the studio, but the quality was excellent. We also added enhancements in the office and bathroom areas, and everything was executed cleanly and efficiently. What really stood out was their responsiveness. When we encountered an electrical concern while hanging our projectors and needed power adjustments, they were ”

“I have worked with Hill Electric several times now and each time Hill Electric was professional, quick and done correctly the first time. Derek Stotler is highly recommended as a contractor. “I have worked with Derek Stotler, from Hill Electric, on several projects over time and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Derek has always been been very professional on every job. What impressed me most was Derek's attention to detail on every job which I really appreciated. Compared to other electricians I've worked with, Derek stands out for his clear communication and efficiency. He completes the job faster than expected without sacrificing quality. While there's little room for improvement, it would be nice if Hill Electric offered an online booking system for appointments. Nevertheless, I highly recommend Derek to anyone needing electrical work. His expertise, fair pricing, and genuine care for his clients make him a top-notch electrician in my book.”
