Matlock Electric & Generator

Matlock Electric & Generator works out of Fort Smith, Texas as an electrician outfit that covers both residential and commercial jobs across Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma. The crew handles the full range of electrical needs that come up in this part of the country where summer storms knock out power and older homes struggle with outdated wiring that cannot keep up with air conditioners and other modern equipment. They focus on straightforward fixes and installs rather than overcomplicating things for homeowners who just need the lights back on or a safe panel in place.

Their services cover home safety inspections, troubleshooting and repair on existing systems, running new circuits and rewiring, swapping out switches and receptacles, adding lighting and ceiling fans, upgrading power panels, installing surge protection along with smoke detectors and GFCIs, plus residential generator installs and maintenance on units like Generac. For businesses they manage commercial and industrial electrical work along with backup power solutions including diesel generator systems and ongoing service. In Fort Smith the heat pushes cooling equipment hard so dedicated circuits and reliable backup setups prevent outages that hit during peak summer loads.

Homeowners in the area count on them for jobs that get completed without delays or surprise costs and the results hold up through the local weather. Feedback points to solid quality on every repair or upgrade along with clear updates during the work and fair pricing that matches the effort. That steady approach to getting things done right builds trust for repeat calls on both small fixes and larger generator projects. DIRT Score 4.8 from 354 reviews on Finds.
