“FINAL UPDATE: AVOID THIS COMPANY. I spoke with the manager at Mister Sparky and he was less than helpful. He said they usually charge $550/hour on average no matter if it's drive time to get to your house or actual work in the house and I should be happy with the $1725 for 4-1/2 hours of work. He also inflated the time by saying they tacked on 1-1/2 hours of drive time (I live in north Fort Worth). If you think $550/hour is fair, then go ahead. They also will not honor their comment below and fix the drywall. UPDATE: Downgrading my 2 star review to 1 star. It’s been roughly 6 weeks, and I have not heard back from anyone at your company on how to make this situation right. I called in about a week ago and whoever I talked to had no knowledge of any follow up or internal investigation on this as you had mentioned and I had to explain the whole situation from the start. “The tech Garrett was almost a 10, but sold this $600 + service/ repair as he would check every single plug, switch, outlet etc. He checked one outlet in another room found that to be the issue and checked nothing else, ridiculous. We had asked how long it would take hebsaid 2 hours was average, but he was gone in less than an hour. OK with not spending too much time but not ok being charged for what I was told would be done but wasn't.”
