North Texas Generators Llc

North Texas Generators Llc works as an electrician out of Fort Worth, Texas, and operates as an authorized dealer for Generac generators. The company focuses on generator installation and repair across the DFW area along with related electrical work such as upgrades, panel replacements, rewiring, surge protection, GFCI switches, meter base work, EV chargers and battery backups. Their location sits at 111 Metrotex Dr Ste 104 in Haslet, and they keep regular hours from nine in the morning until four thirty Monday through Thursday and until noon on Friday.

Customers describe generator installations completed on tight timelines with quotes that held steady from estimate to finish. One reviewer noted Dale handling projects on high value homes and earning repeat business. Others mention business site setups that avoided any disruption to daily operations, plus a 26kw unit that performed as expected after hookup. A few accounts detail post sale problems including missing permits on a prior job despite paperwork claiming otherwise, repeated excuses, and loss of contact. One case involved an installer cutting power without notifying the utility, which led to an extra meter replacement charge.

Reviewers point to fast replies to calls, steady answers to questions, and updates at each stage of the work. Pricing often came in as the lowest or at a fair level, and some customers added a maintenance plan afterward. The company covers the broader Dallas Fort Worth region and handles both residential and commercial generator needs.

Google shows a 4.1 rating from 7 reviews with frequent mentions of response speed, pricing, and communication alongside repeated notes on permit issues and follow through after the initial job. DIRT Score 2.7 from 9 reviews on Finds.

“I was very surprised how quickly they responded and had my generator installed and running. They gave me the best quote and more surprisingly the quote I was given at the time of my estimate never changed through out the job. I highly recommend North Texas Generators. I pura maintenance plan with them as well and I look forward to continuing business.”

“Dale is the man! I build about 2-3 $5M+ Homes a year, and NTG will definitely be getting my business moving forward”

“I highly recommend North Texas Generators for all your generator needs! They installed a generator for me at my place of business they were prompt, courteous and always willing to answer my calls (unlike some other companies) and was patient with my many questions. I was worried the installation might interrupt my customers but there were no issues. I went with them bc they had the lowest quote and everything went perfectly smooth. I will definitely be calling them when I'm ready to have one installed at my home.”

“So I bought a house that had a generator installed by this company. However they never pulled the permits for their work. I found this out a year after i bought the house. The receipt says permits pulled however that was not the case. now 2 years later I am getting excuse after excuse and now ghosted no return of phone calls. If you do business with this company beware of this! They do not honor their word and will stop midway through their so called fix.”

“Awesome, on time, very professional!”

“Great work at a fair price. Very satisfied.”

“Great customer service, affordable pricing, easy process,”

“So happy with our new 26kw generator. Works as promised. Everyone was easy to work with and they communicated every step during the whole process”

“Sorry I ever signed up with them. They were not always honest about everything in their dealings. And the installer disconnected my electric without notifying Oncor which ended up requiring Oncor to send a repair man out to check the installation and replace the electric meter which cost me $220 on my next electric bill.”
