Phenix Electrical & Builders Group Llc
Electrician · Fort Worth, TX
About
Phenix Electrical & Builders Group Llc works as electricians out of Forest Hill, TX. They handle residential electrical projects for local homeowners who need reliable power upgrades and repairs. The outfit takes on jobs in houses of varying ages, including those with outdated wiring that no longer meets modern loads. Crews respond to common issues around the area such as storm damage to service lines and the push for added capacity in garages and utility spaces. They manage both quick service calls and bigger runs that require pulling wire through attics or rerouting around existing structures to keep everything safe and code compliant.
Homeowners call them for electric vehicle charger installs, even when the panel sits at the back of the house and wire must run through the attic to reach the right spot. They also step in after tree limbs drop on overhead lines, ripping meters free and leaving live wires down until the utility caps them off. In one case on a seventy five year old home the team restored service after the fire department cleared the structure. Other jobs include general electrical repairs where the work gets finished on schedule and the system holds up without callbacks. Customers note that the electricians arrive when promised and handle the physical side of pulling cable and mounting equipment without shortcuts.
Reviewers consistently praise the speed of response on urgent calls and the quality of the finished work that lasts through daily use. Communication stays clear on what needs doing and what the final bill will cover, while pricing comes in fair for the scope of the job. Even on complex installs the results hold up and leave the house powered correctly. DIRT Score 4.98 from 629 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Had an EV charger installed at my house. Associates were very professional and did a fantastic job. This was not a normal EV charger install where it just goes next to the breaker panel in the garage. My breaker panel is located in the rear of the house and they had to run wire through the attic and out the front of the house. I definitely recommend for anyone needing electrical work done.”
“Scheduling went great and the electrician showed up on time and that's about where the good experience stopped. The electrician was installing an electric vehicle charger. He honestly didn't really seem to know what he was doing. He almost seemed lost. I was willing to overlook that he placed the charger high up on the wall crammed in between the breaker box and sprinkler controller. The charger worked for all of about 5 minutes. Since then, the circuit breaker pops as soon as a vehicle is plugged in. Even after adjusting the charging amperage to it's lowest setting, the breaker still pops. This is a 60-amp breaker popping on a 30-amp charge. I've tried calling to have the issue fixed but no answer on their phones and their mailbox is full so you can't leave a message. I even tried scheduling another appointment and reached out online and still nothing. When I have a chance, I plan on dropping by their location to see if any resolution can be met.”
“I had them do some work for me and they did a decent job. I was going to hire them for another project but before scheduling they require half of the total price as a down payment which was $1.4k. I ended up having to cancel and they haven’t refunded me my money despite numerous requests and have further stopped responding to me. And the number I had been using for them no longer works. So I don’t know if they’ve blocked me or what, I now have to figure out how to get me money back for a job they didn’t perform.”
“The week before Memorial Day 2026, a tree branch fell on my powerline, and ripped it out of the meter and to the ground. After the fire department came to ensure nothing was sparked in the walls, GP&L came to cap off the live wires. My house is around 75 years old, and still has a lot of older wiring, likely dating to the construction of the house. With no power and hot weather, I began couch-surfing while seeking an electrical company to do the needed repairs to get the connection up to current code. Two days later, I was getting frustrated, because recommendations gotten up to then were not returning my calls. (or possibly, the "cloaked" app on my phone was bouncing them into hyperspace...) A random search online led me to Angi's List, which led me to HR Phoenix, a company based in North Richland Hills. Paul, one of the owners, was reaching out to me within ten minutes of sending a request for proposal. At 10:30 at night! I was impressed... He came over to my house (in Garland) and scoped out the work needed, and gave me a quote. I felt it was reasonable, so we scheduled the job after the holiday. The crew showed up at the time promised, and got right to work. By days end, I had a super-grounded shiny new panel, the original fusebox with glass fuses disconnected and those circuits added to the new panel, and a mast for the powerline, so it is a LOT further from the ground. Yay! The office manager kept me informed on who was where, and emailing paperwork as needed for insurance and inspections. Paul intervened when there was a miscommunication with GP&L, and I had power before the sun went down that day! I'll be calling HR Phoenix first when I have the $$ to finish rewiring the house! (or for any other electrical work, for that matter.)”
“We had a fantastic experience with HR Phoenix Electrical Services. Their team did an outstanding job helping us install several electrical upgrades in our business, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. They were professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the work clearly, made helpful recommendations, and ensured everything was installed safely and neatly. It’s rare to find a contractor who is both highly skilled and genuinely committed to great customer service. The quality of the work was excellent, and they left everything clean and organized after completing the job. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. We started the project by obtaining three (3) bids and the value they brought to the project was exceptional. The cost was below the other contractors and they ensured some items we didn't scope were added to ensure the job was done correct the first time. If you’re looking for a reliable, honest, and skilled electrical team, I would absolutely recommend HR Phoenix Electrical Services. We’ll definitely be calling them again for future projects.”
