About

Top Tech Electric Llc operates as an electrician out of Richland Hills, Texas, and covers the full DFW Metroplex including Dallas and Tarrant Counties plus the mid-cities stretch from Bedford through Arlington and Hurst to Fort Worth. They handle residential electrical needs with clear upfront pricing so homeowners know the costs before any work starts. The crew stays available every day and focuses on getting power issues sorted without extra layers of talk. Local weather brings plenty of storms that knock out lines and trip breakers, so the outfit stays ready for those calls across the area where older homes mix with newer builds.

They fix sparking outlets in attics that shut down air conditioning right after a holiday, like the July 4 job where power to the unit went dead from a bad connection. Technicians such as Andrew and Hayden handle quick repairs on fixtures and spigots tied into electrical systems while Mike steps in during combined outages from storms that also clog drains. Jobs include swapping fluorescent ceiling lights for LED setups by pulling old ballasts and wiring in new Keystone bulbs on four fixtures at once. They tackle major safety problems that need layered fixes, always showing up prepared and finishing without damaging property around the work.

Homeowners keep coming back because the work quality holds up at a high level with solid fixes that last through heat and storms. Response speed gets credit for same-day or next-day arrivals on urgent calls, and communication stays direct so people understand exactly what needs doing and why. Prices come in reasonable for the scope, especially when they avoid full panel replacements by swapping just the bad breakers instead. That steady record across thousands of jobs builds the trust. What Customers Say

We are 100% impressed with every single technician we have used at Top tech. They are bright knowledgeable and respectful of property. We had a major safety issue requiring multi level expertise. They provided amazing workmanship.

My electric outlet in the attic was sparking and cut off power to my air-conditioning on 4 July. It was very warm that day. They came out the next Monday and fixed it very quickly. I took the recommendation and had new breakers put in (the whole breaker box was not necessary) because the breakers should’ve tripped with the event in the attic. The new breakers were installed the next day. I’m very happy with the service and it will be my go to on electric needs.

We had an emergency drain clog at our home during the last crazy storm we had, so of course, our power went out. Talk about a 2 for combo of best in class trade guys. Dylan(plumbing), and Mike(electrical). Came out and got us fixed up perfectly! Top Tech seems like more than their name, it’s a badge of honor that shows in their work. Roasted panel updated to the 21st century with surge protection, and got us a brand new sewer line with pressure assist toilets. We can’t be happier in our house knowing that the lights are on when we need it, and things are flowing smoothly. Thank you Top Tech!

Job was to rewire four existing ceiling 4' two tube T-8 strip fixtures from fluorescent to LED. Remove four ballast and install 8 new 4' Keystone LED bulbs. Total bill was $1,381.17. I was charged $197.31 per bulb. Keystone 4' Direct LED bulbs cost about $10.00 on web. Basically, labor charges would be $1,300 for about two hours of work. Received quote last year to do this same work for $625.00 from similar Electrical/Plumbing company. Work done by tech was very good. I have a really problem with price charged. If not for the pricing, I would have rated company higher. I would not recommend this company due to pricing. Review Update 7-9-26 3:30 pm: I was contacted today shortly after posting my initial review by Mike White, president of the company as he was very concerned about my review. Mike was very open to reviewing my concerns and explaining to me his company's customer focused philosophy. We had a very good conversation, and he was able to understand and address my concerns. Mike indicated that he will be making adjustments to the billing based upon my input. I really appreciate Mike reaching out so quickly and his willingness to listen to his customers. I will keep his company on my list for future project and repair work.

Great guys. I appreciated the communication. Right from the onset of the appointment I was kept informed of arrival times and who would be coming. When the techs arrived they were friendly and courteous. These guys humanized the process by keeping things light and conversational; spending time talking casually about everything from my son's basketball journey to father's playing with their kids. That's the kind of home style grass roots neighborly approach I appreciate. Transparent. The tech took me along with him during discovery mode instead of hiding things away to fully and truthfully expose the issues. Now that's worth the price of gold. The one thing that stood out to me was something the tech said in casual conversation.."I'll tell you a lot of things, but I'll never lie to you" when he was discussing the issues. He backed that up with full transparency. Where they the cheapest in town, no. Where they the most expensive; not even close. What they were and remain to be is an honest, upfront, fully transparent and neighborly company. Nope, I'm not a paid sponsor. I'm a customer who paid for service. What I got in return is a company that I'll recommend in a heartbeat and will hopefully NOT be doing business with in the future haha...it means something has gone wrong again... But a company I will absolutely do business with from now on when necessary.
