Dirk's Electric LLC

Dirk's Electric LLC runs out of Fountain Hills, TX and handles electrical work for homes and properties across the area. Owner Mark Derksen serves as the master electrician behind the outfit and started the company after seeing too many poor jobs that left people dealing with ongoing problems. He keeps a straightforward approach to the trade and focuses on solid results every time out even though he brings a fun side to the work and stays hooked on all things from the 80s. That mix of serious skill and direct methods shows up in how they take on projects without cutting corners or leaving loose ends for the next crew to fix.

Electricians in Fountain Hills deal with plenty of heat related wear on wiring and panels along with the usual calls for new outlets, fixture installs, and full rewires in older houses that never got updated properly. Homeowners often run into issues like overloaded circuits from heavy air conditioning use or lighting setups that fail after a few seasons because the original work was rushed. Dirk's Electric steps in for those exact problems by tracing faults down to the source, replacing bad runs, and adding custom lighting where it fits the layout without creating new hazards down the road. They show up with the right tools and parts to handle service upgrades or panel work in one visit rather than stretching it out over multiple days of back and forth.

Customers keep coming back because the work holds up under daily use and the crew explains what needs fixing without pushing extra services that do not matter. Speed on response times and clear talk about costs add to the steady high marks while quality on the actual installs keeps problems from returning. That record of reliable fixes and honest dealings builds the kind of trust that shows in the numbers. DIRT Score 4.93 from 205 reviews on Finds.

“This is the second time I have used Dirk's Electric and I am very satisfied with their service. This time they installed two outdoor outlets and put in a quick disconnect for the power to my hot water heater. They did an excellent job running the conduit. They tested all of their work. They also lowered the price slightly as they used a little less material than they had quoted. Definitely my go-to electricians in FH.”

“We had a great experience with Dirks Electric. Devon came out to our commercial building and quickly fixed a couple of lighting issues in one of our tenant spaces. He was professional, knowledgeable, and got everything working perfectly. I also want to thank Mark, the owner, for getting us on the schedule so quickly. When we called to book the appointment, Noelle was incredibly friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. The entire process; from scheduling to completion was smooth and stress-free. It's refreshing to work with a company that values customer service and responds promptly. I highly recommend Dirks Electric and will definitely use them again in the future.”

“Excellent service. I needed a repair and Mark was quickly scheduled and took care of everything. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient. I can highly recommend.”

“On time, great work, right on quote, and he does that little bit extra! We now have level 2 charging! Thank you again. Please hire these folks when you want the job done right!”

“Excellent experience with Dirks Electric! Devon installed under cabinet lighting in my kitchen and it looks great! He arrived on time. He worked quickly and efficiently and was careful in the work area keeping everything clean. The office returns calls promptly. When I accidentally dialed their number and disconnected without leaving a message, Ashley called back to be sure she had not missed a call. So efficient! Mark gave me an estimate prior to the work and discussed options with me and explained how the work would be completed. When an unavoidable issue occurred on the scheduled work day, (no one’s fault) electrician Logan made alternate arrangements to insure the work went ahead as planned, demonstrating a willingness to take the extra effort to insure great service. Every step alo”
