“During the last major freeze (Jan. ‘26) my tankless water heater installed the previous October tripped its breaker. Unable to reset this breaker, I opened the Angie app to find an electrician. Angie suggested a list of approved electricians and I asked to have them contact me. Thirty minutes after closing the Angie app, I received a call from Glen Hallihan of NextGen Electric, the first contractor on the list. We discussed my problem. Mr. Hallihan offered to have one of his electrician come to my home, assess the situation in person and give me a cost estimate. Within about an hour of our conversation, a NextGen electrician, Giovanni, arrived. He diagnosed the problem; the water heater had been wired to an inappropriate type of breaker and a new circuit and new breaker were recommended. He gave me an estimate which I felt was reasonable, and after consulting with Mr. Hallihan by phone, we agreed on a day before the end of the week for repair work. Giovanni and his partner Douk were on time (actually several minutes early); both were pleasant and respectful and set to work. The job was completed in about four hours. Mr. Hallihan came by to check the work before his employees quit the site, and to make sure I was satisfied. Overall I was very happy with NextGen’s prompt response, and appreciated their pleasant attitude while in my home. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to family and friends, and certainly will call them if I require future service.”
