Nelson Automation Systems Inc

Nelson Automation Systems Inc handles electrical work in Garland and the wider DFW area from their Rowlett location. Mr. Nelson runs the operation and his crew takes on power outage repairs, light fixture troubleshooting, circuit breaker and fuse box upgrades, full rewiring jobs, basement and attic wiring, plus electrical updates for both older and newer commercial buildings. They keep regular hours from eight to five on weekdays and stay closed on weekends.

Homeowners call them for full house rewires where the crew keeps the place brighter and safer while staying on schedule. One customer noted Mr. Nelson explained the whole process up front and stayed on site to check progress. Another long time client brings them back for ongoing house electrical fixes. An interior design firm uses them on projects because the work gets done without delays. One review described an issue where lights were put in without approval and the company pushed for extra payment or court.

They respond to calls in the DFW Metroplex and customers say Mr. Nelson communicates clearly about what the job will involve and how much it should cost. Reviewers note his estimates line up with what outside parties quote for the same scope. The crew shows up during business hours and handles both residential and commercial sites.

Mixed feedback appears across the six Google reviews with praise for steady workmanship on rewires and repairs but criticism over unrequested work and billing disputes. DIRT Score 2.4 from 6 reviews on Finds.

“I recommend Nelson Automation Systems wholeheartedly. Not only is Mr. Nelson an absolute gentleman, he is a very clear communicator who set and managed our expectations for a full-house rewire expertly. His workers were very professional, and he was often personally present to ensure the quality and speedy progress of the work. His prices feel low because they are fair. (We know this because we had an uninterested 3rd party give us an estimate as to what a re-wire of our house should cost and involve. Nelson's estimate matched it almost exactly.) As for the re-wire itself, we couldn't be happier. Our home is brighter AND safer.”

“As an Interior Design firm, it is very important that all of the trades people we use for our projects and recommend to our clients be top in their field. Nelson Automation always goes above and beyond to perform exceptionally both in the electrical services they provide and the efficiency in which they execute what is needed. We so enjoy partnering with Nelson and his very professional team! Nancy Black Total 360 Interiors, Inc.”

“DO NOT RECOMMEND. They installed lights in multiple rooms we did not request, approve, or want. Now they want to charge us extra or take us to court for these lights we never even wanted installed. Be careful with this company, they will try and scam you.”

“I appreciate Nelson and he team taking care of my electrical issues in my house. I have known them for many years and they always do a great job.”
