I serve on my community's HOA board and we denied an architecture request with plans from this company months ago, but they chose to go over our heads and tell the owner he could install them anyway because of AZ law. Let's start with the fact that their plans weren't fully certified by an engineer, as they should have been. This work would have voided warranties for all residents of this building and resulted in a serious lawsuit against the owner. Additionally, after being contacted about this they turned off their phone service and refused to communicate with the property manager while continuing work they were ordered to stop. Once the system was installed and turned on, the service tech didn’t know how to correctly set the system up. My next electric bill was three times my normal usage. Went from $289 a month to over $1000 . When I contacted Elevation Solar they had no idea why the charge was so high. After several calls and hours on the phone, it was determined the tech didn’t set the solar system and Tesla battery correctly. He originally set the system to pull power off the grid 24 / 7. So no matter what the solar panels were generating I received no credit. “Elevation was paid with out problems when system was installed. Again paid without problem for a service call about 1 year ago. Tried to make contact 4/11/2026 due to solar system complete failure. Got a text message "Sorry we missed you". Finally got a phone call today 4/17/2026. Told that before a service call could be scheduled, arrangement for payment must be made. Their Curb monitoring never functioned correctly. They are willing to please until they get paid, then you're second class, while they rush onto the next victim. Four years later, and the monitoring system is STILL NOT working!”

After install support has also been provided and was excellent. I found a broken corner tile that may or may not have been from the install but when my roof warranty co punted saying it wasn’t their job to fix, Elevation did so without any fuss. “Stay away, do not give your money to this company. At this point they seem like a scam company and you will regret using them. Once your system is installed they will not help or provide any support/service. They do not honor warranties, they will lie to you about warranties . Their staff are not trained properly and don't know how to do electrical work. Their work is negligent and dangerous. If you want a company that will come and create fire hazards in your house, this is the company for you. The car charger they installed with my panels stopped working even though it has warranty. It was not installed correctly. The installation was so bad it created a fire hazard but now they refuse to take any responsibility for the bad installation, the fire hazard, or the fried charger. “Do not buy Solar from this Company. We had Elevation Design, build and install an entire system on our home which was turned on in December of 2024. The system never would connect to the WIFI. We reported the issue several times to Elevation to which they replied it was fine as it was still communicating via cell modem. Over the last year, the communications system started disconnecting several times a week. We called again once it stopped communicating completely for several weeks. They said there would be a $200 call out fee. We scheduled the visit and they sent two techs out that were here for several hours. They determined the Mother board was faulty and ordered a replacement from Envision. They advised us to contact them when the new board arrived and they would return to install it. ”
