“I recently stopped by to complete my smog check after calling this place to compare prices. Over the phone, they quoted me $49.75 but failed to mention an additional certificate fee of $8.25. To their credit, the staff did inform me about this fee once I was at their location, but it still felt shady since they weren’t upfront about it during the initial call. On the positive side, there was no wait, and they completed the test quickly in about 5–7 minutes. However, I was disappointed by their misleading marketing. Their website advertises "$25 off," but in person, they claim the actual price is $75. From my experience, smog check prices in LA generally range from $30 to $60, so I’m not sure what additional value they’re providing to justify the higher cost. To make matters worse, they ended up charging me about $10 more than the phone quote. Overall, I felt misled by their website, marketing, and business practices. I wish they had been honest and transparent about their pricing from the start.”

Ended up charging $59 for labor (guy treated himself to a $10 tip) plus certificate fee for a total of $68. Dishonest. Shady. No wonder the place’s dead.”
