“I had four areas that needed electrical light repairs. The electricians fixed the problems in only two of those areas, but they charged me nearly $2,100. I stopped them from continuing because I believed the total cost would have reached around $4,000 if they had completed all four areas. Two of the issues involved outdoor lights with faulty photosensors. One light stayed on 24 hours a day, and the second light would not turn on because the photosensor was not working. Since they charged such a high amount, I expected them to replace the photosensors with new ones. However, I later ordered replacement photosensors from Amazon, and they cost only about $30 for a set of two. Instead of continuing with the original company, I hired a local electrician to complete the remaining work. They finished the job, including materials, for approximately $500. Based on my experience, I felt that the original charges were excessive compared to the actual cost of the repairs and materials.”

The electrician who came out did a great job of walking me through everything that would happen, what kind of EVSE to buy, and what date they'd be able to swing by and do all the work. On top of that, they were about $5,000 cheaper than a quote I had gotten from a competitor. On the day of the install, the electrician and his apprentice, who the electrician was kind and patient with, were dedicated and hardworking. All in all it was a great experience.”
