About

3 Guys Electrical & Insulation works out of Houston, Texas, handling electrical repairs and insulation upgrades for homes across the city and nearby areas. The company has operated as a locally owned business since 2015, holding a master electrician license and an electrical contractor license that cover panel work, lighting installs, and attic sealing jobs. Houston heat and humidity push many houses to need better insulation to ease strain on cooling systems, and this crew steps in for those fixes along with basic electrical updates that keep everything running steady. They focus on straightforward service without dragging out the process for homeowners who just want reliable results in the attic or at the breaker box.

Gerald starts many jobs with a full attic check that points out old insulation that has settled and forces the HVAC to run harder than it should. From there teams including Andy, Janie, and Lee handle the next steps by injecting spray foam, adding an attic fan, and blowing in fresh layers to restore coverage. Janie and Lee stay in touch with the owner throughout so nothing comes as a surprise, while Marius and Laura handle re-insulation projects that include removing decades-old material and replacing it cleanly. The same crews also take on electrical panel repairs, new outlet and switch installs, and fan hookups when those come up during the same visit.

Homeowners keep coming back because the pricing stays reasonable even on bigger attic jobs that combine insulation and electrical work. Reviews mention crews showing up ready with the right materials and finishing without surprise costs or delays that eat into a weekend. The consistent feedback centers on clear explanations during the job and results that cut down on energy waste in Houston homes. DIRT Score 5 from 214 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Reached out to get a quote and was connected with someone pretty quickly. Scheduled an appointment for an on-site meeting. That morning I received a call asking if they could come in a bit earlier but unfortunately, I was not home. We agreed to meet at the time originally discussed. I then received a second call from the energy consultant stating that he reviewed my notes and that my project was possibly not big enough to meet their minimum requirement which is 800sqft or $2,300. I wish this was mentioned before when I initially reached out. I had explained in detail what I was looking to get done so I’m surprised they didn’t say anything before. Instead, Gerald asked that I send him photos of the space for him to review. That was the whole reason for the appointment. Wasted my time and in the end I used another company that had no minimum.

Gerald came out and did a thorough inspection, he showed us all the places where the old insulation had settled over the years making our HVAC system work harder. Then Andy, Janie and Lee came out to inject the foam, install an attic fan, and blow in a new layer of insulation in the attic. The house is noticeably cooler and we are looking forward to our system working more efficiently while keeping the house at comfortable temperatures year round.

I used USA Insulation of SE Houston to remove and replace the 30-year-old insulation in my home. From start to finish, they were professional, attentive, and the work was superb! The crew (Janie and Lee) were very nice and made sure I knew what was going on the entire time. I would (and have) highly recommend(ed) this company for any of your insulation needs.

As a Professional Home Inspector, I inspect attics (and the insulation) several times a week. When I needed my own attic re-insulated I was referred to Marius and Laura Cuzmin by a well known and trusted vendor. They responded quickly and did my re-insulation at a very fair price. Good and honest people to deal with. And I will now be referring my Clients to them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

****BUYERS BEWARE******Had them come out and install spray foam insulation in a bedroom, living room and children's play area. They quality of work was some of the worst I have ever seen. The amount of over spray up and down walls, flooring, furniture, and outside my home took days to clean up. Paid for 3in of foam and in many places only got 1/4in. Foam is now pulling away from rafters and wall studs. Called rep to complain the next day and he advised they would come back and correct. Three weeks later still getting ghosted by rep. Received a call from the manager he advised they would only come back and fix if I would pay for them to do so. Had second company come in just to see their opinion on the work and they said it all needs to be ripped out and redone. Should have done more research on this company to find out there is an entire Facebook page dedicated to this companies failures.
