Cto Electric Llc
Electrician · Houston, TX
About
Cto Electric Llc works as electricians out of Houston, Texas where homes often deal with overloaded panels and the need for upgrades when adding heavy appliances or chargers. Standard service runs eighty to one hundred thirty dollars an hour while full panel swaps land between two thousand and forty five hundred dollars depending on the scope. The crew handles calls involving sparking outlets, buzzing breakers, or total power loss that count as true emergencies and require shutting off the main breaker right away. Licensed electricians must perform nearly all wiring and inspection work in the city since unlicensed jobs can void coverage and create serious hazards for residents.
Customers have described the team completing an Austin to Waco run for full electrical work at a Sprint store location where the crew finished the job on schedule without delays. Other homeowners mentioned a hands on assessment process that involved several hours of practical testing in a workspace that some found in need of better upkeep between sessions. The same reviews noted that the instructor leading the session showed limited knowledge during the evaluation and that follow up contact after the test often required the applicant to call back multiple times before getting any response about available jobs.
Reviewers who gave higher marks pointed to solid speed on job sites along with straightforward communication once the crew arrived and started the actual work. Lower scores focused on delays in scheduling and inconsistent follow through after initial contact which pulled the overall rating down despite the positive notes on execution. Homeowners in Houston continue to watch for electricians who show up prepared and finish without repeated visits. DIRT Score 3.64 from 51 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Don't do it, complete waste of time !!! The "4 hour hands on test" is a joke. The first clue is the filthy test area, they are too lazy to clean up after every test. If this is how the test aria is, I don't want to see the job sight. They don't even have any work, just wasting peoples time. Then they don't even offer top-pay.”
“If you take that hands-on test, you best ask them to pay you. That test is literally half a day of work. Then they tell you, they don’t really have any work, just having people take the test for future work. Don’t waste your time.”
“This place is a scam. The testing assessment is a joke the instructor , she doesn't know a thing about electricity or electrical work A waste of your time. They never called back. Had to call them. They tell you to be on time they're a half hour to 45 minutes late. Completely unprofessional. The company needs a new H.R staff.”
