Dob Electric

Dob Electric handles electrical work in Houston as a company started by Ricardo Castaneda and later joined by his sons Alexis Castaneda and Ricardo Castaneda Jr. They focus on commercial ground up projects, renovations, service calls and standby generator setups after more than ten years in the trade. The business operates from 4028 Joyce Blvd and stays open Monday through Friday from eight in the morning until five in the afternoon while closing on weekends. Their listed services cover commercial builds, updates to existing systems and generator installs for both business and home settings.

Customers call on them for generator installations and general electrical fixes where the crew explains each step before starting. Reviewers note that teams including Naif, Emily, Josh, Joe, Jose, Jace and Solomon handled jobs on time and kept the work areas clean. One account described a generator project that moved quickly from first visit to finish with clear updates along the way. Others mention full electrical service calls that covered everything from initial walk through to final checks without extra surprises.

Work moves forward with steady updates from the crew and a focus on finishing within the agreed window. Emily handled many of the back and forth messages that kept homeowners informed on progress. The company stays inside the Houston area and sticks to regular weekday hours so calls after five or on weekends go unanswered. Pricing comes up in reviews as straightforward once the scope is laid out and no one reported hidden fees on the completed jobs.

All five Google reviews rate the company at five stars with repeated notes on clear talk and friendly handling of the work. Topics that show up often include step by step explanations and crews that finish on schedule. DIRT Score 3.1 from 5 reviews on Finds.
