Elias Solar, Inc.

Elias Solar, Inc. works as an electrician out of Houston, Texas. They install, repair, and service PV solar systems for homes, businesses, and utility sites. The company handles full turnkey work including design, consulting, permitting, inspections, battery setups, EV charger installs, roof fixes, cleaning, and maintenance on both grid-tied and off-grid setups. The owner was born and raised in Houston, the business has operated since 2016, and they keep all tasks in-house with their own certified staff rather than subcontracting.

Customers call them in when prior installers go out of reach or leave systems incomplete. Reviews describe fixes for hurricane-damaged panels, wiring corrections from earlier work, and setups that let batteries power a home during outages. Michael handled multiple of these jobs, including a 13 kilowatt array with two batteries and a 32 panel removal and reinstall. Others mention quick turnaround on diagnosing performance issues through photos sent online, followed by on-site repairs that restored full operation.

They answer online inquiries promptly and often move projects forward faster when systems have sat idle for months. Pricing comes in reasonable on the jobs described, with some diagnostic visits done at no charge. The team arrives early for appointments and wraps most repairs in a couple of hours. Service runs from the Houston address on weekdays between nine and six, and they cover both residential and commercial sites in the area without outside crews.

“Credit goes to Elias Solar for rescuing us from our solar installer's bankruptcy aftermath. Elias effectively repaired hurricane-damaged panels, ensuring transparency throughout. Highly recommended!”

“Earlier this year, we decided to install a rooftop solar system with battery backup. We started our research in March on different options of inverters: string inverter, power optimizer, and micro inverter. We had discussions and quotes with multiple national and Texas-based solar installation companies. Somehow we were not sure about any of them. Finally, my wife found a Houston-based company called Elias Solar. They turned out to be very responsive and assigned their solar technician Michael to us. We were very impressed by his expertise and knowledge of the pros and cons of the various options and decided to go with Elias Solar. After the permitting process, the system installation was led by Michael who was on site all along and always reachable by email or text. After more applications, we received Centerpoint's Permit to Operate (PTO) in September. Since then, the system has been operating seamlessly and as expected. Last night, there was a power outage for over an hour and the battery backup kicked right in. Our house was the only one in the neighborhood with the lights on, and that felt really good ! Thanks to Michael who helped define our project and then install the ”

“Elias Solar did an amazing job for me. My original installer became unreachable and I had to find a new installer. My online inquiry was answered by Michael promptly, he put a rush on my project (since it had already been about a year not working), he corrected wiring issues from the original company and got my system configured to run on my battery during a power outage (which hadn't been done originally). My system now is working great, even during our recent power outage. So glad I switched to Elias solar.”

“Elias Solar installed a 13 kw system with two 10kwh batteries at our house, and I’m extremely satisfied with his service, professionalism, and knowledge. The installation of the solar panels was quick and all conduit was routed through the attic. If you are thinking of getting solar, I strongly recommend considering Elias Solar”

“I have had trouble with my solar installation from the very start. It's a long sad story of shady companies and faulty equipment. Thank goodness I finally found Elias Solar. They were extremely professional and went above and beyond in diagnosing and fixing my problems. Their services were very reasonably priced and my system is functioning better than ever.”

“They removed and reinstalled my 32 panel system that ADT Solar/Sunpro originally installed. ADT Solar quoted me a very high price to remove and reinstall, and then wouldn't respond to phone calls and emails, so I went to Angie's List and found Elias Solar. They did a great job for a reasonable price. I worked with Michael as the technician. I highly recommend them.”
