Enchanted Rock Llc
Electrician · Houston, TX
About
Enchanted Rock Llc works as electricians based in Houston, Texas. They handle electrical resiliency setups that rely on dual-purpose microgrids powered by natural gas and renewable natural gas. The company started in 2006 and builds systems meant to keep power running for businesses and critical spots when the main grid goes down. Their approach combines generators with monitoring software to track conditions and switch over during outages. Homeowners and operators in Houston often deal with storm-related power cuts, so these electricians focus on installing and supporting equipment that steps in fast without the emissions of older diesel options.
They install and service microgrid generators along with related electrical components for backup needs. Jobs include setting up units that run on natural gas, connecting them to existing systems, and handling maintenance calls when problems show up. Reviews point to cases where generators arrived with dirt inside, scratches on the equipment, and insulation coming loose because checks were skipped before delivery. Technicians sometimes rig parts instead of swapping in new ones, leading to turbo malfunctions that cause units to fail. Customers also report being pushed toward extra payments after equipment breaks rather than getting direct fixes or replacements on the original install.
Customers keep bringing up the same problems with equipment that fails early, slow or no help when things go wrong, and staff who act unprofessional on the road. Complaints mention road rage from drivers who speed, block lanes, and make threats instead of focusing on the work. The low marks add up from repeated issues with build quality that leaves units dirty and incomplete plus poor follow-through on repairs. DIRT Score 2.44 from 21 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Let me just start off by saying if I could rate these guys a 0 I would lord are there generators complete garbage. I noticed they have to rig parts instead of replacing with correct new parts I’ve had several issues and they DO NOT stand on there word . There turbos tend to malfunction and blow up I noticed these engines are not new and are also in poorly condition I would recommend you to BE AWARE and save your self the time and hassle and go on to Generac we’re they will acomódate you and get you strained out and give you all the help you need please BE AWARE DO NOT RECOMMEND !!!”
“Units are garbage when the unit arrives completely dirty on the inside scratches all over the unit very obvious it’s not a new engine insulation on the inside is falling clearly these units are not inspected before leaving very un professional for being a company coming up making a bad name for themselves they say there the best generator out there but there’s a lot of things in plain view that had to be fabricated instead of doing things the correct way they cheap out and when things break or you have issues they triple charge you for parts and labor highly do not recommend these generators nothing but junk STAY AWAY”
“this company makes terrible products. they seem like they should be convenient and great solutions, but they manufacture and provide faulty equipment to paying customers, then when it fails due to product quality, do nothing to help except try to get MORE money. replacement with another system would be too costly, and they know that, so they charge insane amounts for any kind of repair. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM.”
“Your employees should not drive a vehicle if they cannot represent your company well. This employee had massive road rage, with speeding up, slowing down, not allowing me to pass. Then finally flipped me off and made the gesture of shooting me in the head. If he can't regulate himself on the road I'd hate to see him in the workplace. This also doesn't seem to be the first review about an employee's driving. Enchanted Rock should take this seriously before someone actually gets hurt.”
“You all need to watch where you drive. One of your guys swerved across 4 kanes of traffic today to make a turn and nearly took me out and several others.”
