Gonzales Commercial Electric Inc
Electrician · Houston, TX
About
Gonzales Commercial Electric Inc operates as electricians based in Houston, Texas. They handle electrical contracts for commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, and institutional sites across the local market. The company lists its location at 5235 Milwee St and joined the Procore network back in April 2022. Records show eleven total projects with an average size near sixteen million dollars each, along with five active jobs at present. Houston weather and older commercial stock create steady demand for electrical upgrades and repairs in those sectors, where the firm positions itself as a specialty contractor focused on power distribution and general electrical work.
Electricians from the company perform installations and maintenance on large commercial and healthcare jobs, yet multiple accounts describe ongoing problems with material supply and crew payments that slow progress. Reviews note electricians waiting weeks without checks for multiple pay periods, with owners providing no responses to calls or emails. Supply houses have also gone unpaid, which blocks access to needed parts and wire on active sites. One account highlighted leadership that takes a take-it-or-leave-it approach with workers, leaving crews short on resources during ongoing electrical projects around Houston.
Feedback shows repeated complaints about communication and reliability that pull the overall rating down, with little consistent mention of strong performance on speed or quality across the jobs. Customers point to payment delays and supply issues as the main friction points that affect daily operations. DIRT Score 3.21 from 29 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“They DO NOT pay their employees. My husband (an electrician) and I have emailed HR, plus he has been calling and they do not respond! Weeks without pay and to this day we are waiting on 3 pay periods. It has been very fustrating trying to get to someone to provide us with a concrete answer. It is so unproffesional of them to withhold wages we continue to kindly ask for updates of when payment should be expected. They seem to owe everyone not just the people who work here!”
“These people have not payed us in going on 4 weeks. The owners cant take time out of their day to even give us any answers. Also they don't pay their supply houses and can't get material. Good luck!!!!”
“He what's my primary doctor 2017 to 2008 he's a great doctor, I really feel he has your best interests at heart!”
“Unfortunately leadership is corrupt, don't care about their workers, pretty much take it or leave it”
