About

Landmark Electric operates as an electrician out of Houston, Texas, focusing on residential electrical work across the local area. The company joined the Procore network back in July 2022 and handles jobs tied to new construction and warranty service for builders in the region. Homeowners in Houston often deal with hot summers that push electrical systems hard, along with frequent needs for added outlets, lighting fixes, and vehicle charging setups in newer subdivisions. This crew sticks to standard electrical tasks without branching into bigger commercial projects based on what shows up in their records.

They handle installations like EV charging stations and warranty repairs on things such as dead LED fixtures in kitchen ceilings. Technicians get sent out for initial inspections on builder-selected jobs, but calls for scheduling often go unanswered or lead to long waits. One customer named Melanie pushed back on a new homeowner about waiting four hours a day instead of sorting out the problem. Another set of calls for pricing and availability on added electrical work never got returned, leaving builders' requirements unmet. The same pattern shows up with multiple attempts to book time for recommended upgrades that stall out completely.

Homeowners keep running into the same blocks with no follow-through on messages, arguments during service calls instead of fixes, and repeated scheduling failures on straightforward warranty items. Reviews mention neighbors hitting the same wall on basic electrical needs in new homes. That track record lines up with the low marks across speed, communication, and reliability. DIRT Score 1.84 from 28 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

My builder said I had to use this company if I wanted to add anything electrical in my home as to keep the 1 yr warranty. I’ve called 4 times and been told someone would call me back with pricing and availability and no one has called me back! If they are this unprofessional and unorganized with just quotes I can’t imagine getting actual work from them done in my home.

Melanie needs customer service training. I just bought a new home and Melanie tells me it's not her fault this is happening. That I do need to wait 4 hours a day when I work and wait. Arguing with me instead of listening. BEWARE!!!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!! OTHER NEIGHBORS are complaining about them as well. I asked for a manager and they said that they don't speak two customers because they are honoring their privacy. Seriously!!!???

Despite multiple attempts to schedule an appointment for the installation of an EV charging station, as recommended by my builder, I encountered significant difficulty in reaching the company. Unfortunately, most of my calls went unanswered, and when I did manage to speak with someone, my details were taken but I never received follow-up. This lack of responsiveness led me to seek services elsewhere, concerned about the reliability of their post-service support."

So far, we're off to a horrible start. This is the company selected by my builder for warranty repair. Perhaps this means they wired the house originally, too, I can't be certain. Regardless, they called to schedule the initial inspection of my issue (3 LED fixtures in my kitchen ceiling are dead within 5 months of installation) and gave me a 4 hour window for the call. As a productive member of society, I have a job, which fortunately for me is close to home, so I requested a call ahead of their arrival to enable me to get there and accommodate the service technicians. I was informed, "I can note it on the ticket, but I can't guarantee they'll call." Hmm. So, virtually every person on the continent is in possession of a cellular phone, and most certainly in a business like this should have a company phone, but they can't be required to use it as a function of their job? We'll see how the day goes, but I certainly support the other reviews suggesting that the office staff is less than helpful. ETA: the young man didn't call ahead, but was kind enough to wait for me to arrive. Rather than determine why 3 LED fixtures, well under 1 year old, went out within two weeks of each other, he simply replaced them and went on his merry way. I look forward to seeing him again soon and expect I'll probably have to add him to my Christmas card list before next year.

Gilbert is horrible, dude lied multiple times about calling me and then when i made a fourth complaint he called me after hours and i even double checked if that number had ever called me and they NEVER did. And he rudely hung up on me. wouldn’t recommend allowing him to do any work on your home if that’s how he acts to people
