Paul Richard Electric Llc
Electrician · Houston, TX
About
Paul Richard Electric Llc handles electrical work for homes around Houston, Texas. The city sees brutal summer heat that keeps air conditioners running nonstop and frequent storms that knock out power lines. This puts real strain on older wiring and overloaded circuits, leading to rooms losing power or appliances that refuse to turn off. Their electricians come in and find the actual source of the trouble rather than applying quick fixes that fail later. They also set up dedicated outlets for backup generators to keep houses powered when hurricanes hit.
They put in 30 amp plugs for generators by connecting straight to the breaker box and explain the setup to owners so the system runs right after storms pass. Technicians like Matt handle open ground faults in bedrooms by rewiring the whole circuit when tests show it is needed. They fix sockets that run dishwashers and correct breaker arrangements that could start fires after multiple outlets stopped working and an air conditioner stayed stuck on. Crews show up when promised, check the problems right there, and explain what they found and fixed so homeowners understand the repairs without confusion.
Customers rate them high because the electricians complete the work fast while keeping the connections solid and using good materials. Calls get answered quickly even when made on short notice and the fixes last through regular use in Houston homes. Owners mention the clear talks about the issues and that they do not have to call back for the same problem. Work quality and response speed stand out in the feedback. What Customers Say
“My nephew found this company. And I thank God he did. My parents home was always suffering from the entire home losing power because of all the plugged up outlets and an AC unit that would not turn off. Our last straw was finding out the home could have caught fire because someone place a breaker that was not sufficient amps. Company come out the same day, and discovered the mess the previous company my parents used had left. Next day he had a crew working to install a breaker box. My parents home is old and the fact that his men came out and installed this fancy looking box is insane! City of Pasadena came and it passed inspection! My parents are seniors and need electricity this company sure came through! We will continue to use this company and I will refer people here. Such great business practices, and the price, did I mention was fair, actually quoted a few places and he came in the most affordable, and the most professional.”
“14 year Journeyman came to my house to diagnose a open ground fault in one of the bed rooms. After spending 2 hours trying to diagnose the issue he came to the determination that an entire bedroom needed to be rewired. I had a hard time believing it so I opened up all the receptacles myself and found an obvious ground disconnect. To be fair to the technician he opened all the other receptacles and checked those but just missed this one. I spoked with Paul personally about the situation and stated that I felt it was fair that I paid their $250 service charge since I called them out but since the tech missed a very obvious plug that was the issue, that I ended up having to fix, I had a hard time paying an extra $125 on top of that for the misdiagnosis (that would have cost ALOT if I decided to take his word for it). Paul told me that if I didn’t pay for that extra hour that he would have to cover it (sounds like the cost of business and training your techs to me) and that I as the home owner am responsible for telling the technician where all the plugs in bedroom are and that it’s my fault he missed it. He did offer however to cover a half hour of the misdiagnosis time. I would highly recommend you use a different electrician, not only did they not solve my problem but their solution would have cost me thousands of dollars that didn’t need to be spent. I have attached a picture of the obvious ground wire disconnected as well as the reading after the ground wire was re-attached.”
“This company took my call, said no problem, we can do it ( requesting a 30 amp plug to my breaker box for a generator ) They got our information and had a technician come out a few days later and were able do to the installation process and showed me how it all works. This company is top notch, professional and courteous. I'm very happy with them and recommend you give them a try. P.S. Another company I went to in person, filled out paperwork and called 2 times for the same thing never bothered to even return my call. Very unprofessional, and it shows they don't care for your business. ( Generac 249 )”
“This company did a really good job on the work I needed done. Got a 50 amp plug install for my generator since hurricane season started and fixed electric socket for my dishwasher. They were on time they showed up and got the job done. Matt was very informative and answered every question I had. You just don't get service like this too much anymore. Keep up the good work.”
“Juan Carlos was knowledgeable, courteous and very efficient. This company came out quicker than I expected and Juan was finished within hours of arriving. My panel is completely upgraded and he even cleaned up the entire area. Paul Richard the owner spoke to me directly and stayed in touch until the task was completed. It is my pleasure to recommend this company and Juan. Great job guys. You can see what a difference it made the new one is fabulous. The old one got surged and wouldn’t work at all. Thank you Paul Richard Electric!!! Kam Noren”
