Texas Electrical Residential Contractors
Electrician · Houston, TX
About
Texas Electrical Residential Contractors works as electricians out of Houston where they handle residential jobs across the city and nearby spots like Katy and Missouri City. They focus on wiring for new homes, upgrades to old panels, and repairs when power fails or fixtures need attention. Houston heat and storms put extra strain on electrical systems so these crews stay busy with outdoor lighting installs, generator hookups, and fixes to ceiling fans or recessed lights that homeowners run into all the time. They show up for emergency calls and regular service work without making a big show of it.
Cody and Jerardo teamed up to put two new ceiling fans in one house and finished fast while checking that everything ran right. Kevin has stepped in on tougher cases like tracing why a kitchen light had no power or spotting a missing screw on a fan bracket left by someone else and tightening it down to keep the fixture secure. He talks through the steps so the owner understands the fix and follows up on details that could cause trouble later. The crew takes on breaker panel work, chandelier swaps, and security lighting too, moving from one task to the next with clear explanations and no extra trips back.
Customers keep noting the quick response times when power cuts out or fans need hanging plus the steady quality that leaves outlets and lights working without callbacks. Kevin stands out for sorting problems on the spot and keeping folks in the loop during the job while the team as a whole gets credit for fair pricing on upgrades and repairs. One review flagged wiring problems in a new build that were not corrected later but most comments point to solid results on everyday fixes and installs. DIRT Score 3.41 from 28 reviews on Finds.

Nothing fazes him. Kevin is dependable, knowledgeable and has a great attitude. He has helped us with several of our warranty issues. I would recommend Kevin without any hesitation.”
“Has a great experience With Kevin. He was very professional and went the extra mile when he noticed the person who installed my ceiling fan left a screw missing on the bracket. Kevin took care of the screw and gave me peace of mind my fan wouldn’t fall on me. Great service! Thanks Kevin.”
“They do a poor job and don't stand by the integrity of their work. I bought my home brand new, they did the wiring, and it had numerous electrical issues. I have a ceiling fixture in my kitchen that I never wired. I decided to install a pendant light and upon inspection, I realized there was no power coming from the wires. I have never touched any of this since moving into my brand new house. Texas Electrical Residential Contractors would charge $140 just to inspect what they originally improperly installed. If you want a cheap, unreliable, and unsupported home electrical system, go to Texas Electrical Residential Contractors. Otherwise, find someone with integrity who can do the job right the first time.”
“I spoke to Fidel (the owner ) who was recommended by David Weekly contractor for a ceiling fan not working. Fidel asked me if I had reset the ceiling fan before he sent someone out and I said I had. One of his guys came out and pulled a chain and said he had fixed the problem!!!! Couple hours later the fan stopped working again so I called Texas electricians again and they said they would send someone out again at no charge as long as it was the same fan not working, which it was. I called two days later to see when they would be coming out and Fidel said they would charge another fee since they would be coming out. I explained that was not what his employee said and that it was the same fan. He said the fan was working when the electrician left so he would charge another fee even if his employee did not get to the bottom of the problem to begin with. I would not recommend this company to any one and I should have gone with another highly recommended company and not by the fact that they worked with David Weekly!!!!”
