Voltex Electric

Voltex Electric operates as an electrician out of Houston, Texas, with a focus on network systems, security camera systems, building access controls, business networking, VOIP phone systems, audio and video setups, smart homes, and IT solutions. The company started in 2015 in Houston and now covers areas across Texas. They are trained, certified, bonded, and insured, and they stress clean professional work using commercial grade equipment. Ray handles much of the on site work along with his crew.

Customers call them for full security camera installations at businesses, IP camera upgrades, alarm and CCTV setups, and home automation projects. Reviewers note that Ray and the team complete these jobs efficiently, deliver systems that are straightforward to use, and handle troubleshooting calls for existing setups without needing an extra visit. One customer had them install a third system for a business and found it the best functioning of any they had tried before.

They keep customers updated by text when schedules shift and respond to calls or messages within hours. Jobs stay on the promised dates even if the crew works into the evening after a delay at another site. Hours run from 9:30 to 7 on weekdays with weekends off. Work stays centered in Houston though they serve broader Texas locations, and pricing tools apply only inside Houston.

The Google rating sits at 5 from 8 reviews, with repeated notes on timely arrivals, clear communication, and solid results from the installed systems. DIRT Score 3.6 from 8 reviews on Finds.

“Ray and his team did a great job of originally installing our IP camera system. He then was able to help me troubleshoot a system upgrade just recently over the phone. Would recommend for anyone considering an IP security camera system!”

“Voltex Security Systems was one of the most professional companies I have dealt with in my 8+ years in the Houston City. They showed up on schedule and the one time they were delayed at another house they kept me informed of the delay via text messaging and then worked late into the evening to finish my installation on the date promised. Every time I have reached out to Voltex Security Systems they respond within hours. I would highly recommend you consider this company for you security and home automation needs.”
