“My home was built in 2000. My home builder was Plantation Homes. According to my home owner manuel given to me at closing, the Electric utilities were put in my home by Jernigen Electric. My husband and I wanted to do a remodel in our guest bathroom. When we removed the old, cheap, builder light strip over the vanity, we were appalled at what we discovered. This is the sloppiest job I have ever seen in my life. The cut several holes in the wall, no box installed, just pulled wires through. There is one spot where they cut a second section out of the sheetrock, I guess to make it fit. I'm a female with no electrical experience and I could have done a better job. I have taken pictures of the sloppy mess they made. If this is their usualy standard (and I have no reason to believe that it isn't) beware!”
