Tri-Point Construction Services Inc
Electrician · Humble, TX
About
Tri-Point Construction Services Inc works as an electrician based in Humble, Texas. The company was established in 2006 and is led by owner Bobby Daniel, who started in construction in 1989 and now oversees operations with a team of ten to nineteen employees. They focus on electrical services tied to building alterations and repairs around the Houston area, including work at their main location on FM 1960 Bypass Road. Daniel handles owner and operations duties while other staff manage estimating and field supervision for projects that range from residential fixes to larger construction sites.
The electricians at Tri-Point take on jobs like wiring and repairs after major weather events, sending crews door to door following Hurricane Beryl to handle storm damage at homes. They hire subcontractors for specific electrical tasks on builds and use project managers along with superintendents such as Jordan Harvey and Curtis Fleming to coordinate the work. Customers have noted their trucks on local roads and described how the company hustles for post-storm business, though the process often involves multiple hands from estimators like Rene Wu down to on-site crews handling the actual electrical installations and controls.
Reviews point to repeated problems that pulled the score down, with homeowners and subcontractors calling out slow progress, sloppy execution on electrical repairs, and poor project management that left issues unresolved. Several accounts mention disputes over payments that ended in lawsuits, along with unsafe driving by company trucks and pushy sales tactics after storms. These patterns across feedback on speed, quality, and communication explain the low marks. DIRT Score 2.67 from 29 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Should’ve Trusted the Warnings. This Contractor Doesn’t Pay I saw a few negative reviews about Tri-Point Construction and the owner Daniel before accepting a job as an electrician on one of their projects. I gave them the benefit of the doubt — the work they described sounded legitimate, and I believed they ran an honest operation. Big mistake. I completed the electrical work exactly as agreed — on time, to code, and with professional quality. Once the job was done, they completely stopped responding when it came time to pay. No returned calls, no replies to emails, no payment. Just silence. This is not just poor communication — it’s intentional avoidance and refusal to honor a basic contract. If this is how they treat their subcontractors, I’d be very concerned about how they treat clients or manage projects overall. Learn from my mistake: don’t ignore the red flags”
“Tri-Point construction please show your drivers how to drive their truck, the person driving almost hit a sedan due to not turning his signal that he was changing lanes, he was also getting out of the lanes making it seem like they were on the phone. This is the license plate number SGV 0317”
“SUBCONTRACTOR'S BEWARE!!!!! I wish I could rate this company zero stars because that's what they deserve. They hired an amazing subcontractor who did a fantastic job on the work they were hired for, but the main contractor refused to pay them and has now dragged the situation into a lawsuit. Let me start by saying that the subcontractor they hired was top-notch. From day one, they showed up on time, worked hard, and did an outstanding job on the project. The quality of their work was far beyond what I expected, and I was thrilled with the progress. If I could have hired them directly, I would have, because they were the professionals in this situation. The problem? The main contractor, TRIPOINT CONSTRUCTION. Despite the subcontractor completing all the work as agreed, they never paid them! Not only did they breach the contract with the subcontractor, but they also left me in the middle of a mess. I’ve had to spend months dealing with phone calls, emails, and now, we’re in the middle of a lawsuit because THE OWNER BOBBIE refuses to pay them accordingly. It’s clear that this company doesn’t care about its subcontractors, and they certainly don’t care about their clients. They’ve shown an utter lack of professionalism, and their refusal to pay the people who actually did the hard work is unforgivable. The subcontractor was incredibly skilled, and the work was worth every penny, but now we’re stuck in this legal nightmare because of the main contractor’s dishonesty. If you’re looking for a company that treats its subcontractors and clients with respect, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They’re unethical, untrustworthy, and downright shady. The only reason I’m giving even one star is because of the subcontractor's excellent work. Unfortunately, they’re the real victims here, and now they’re paying the price because of this contractor’s incompetence and dishonesty. Save yourself the headache and hire someone else. You deserve better.”
“After Hurricane Beryl, Tri-Point had their storm chasers out hustling business door to door at damaged homes. My experience with them was very disappointing. Overall, I would describe them as slow, sloppy, and self-serving—not much customer satisfaction. There were many issues... project management, workmanship, materials, etc. I would not recommend them as residential general contractors.”
“We were hired to haul earth materials for them, and they haven't paid in months. They owe over 10k. We have been sending them emails to at least give us payments and we get ignored. Will be taking things further as there has not been any type of communication.”
