What Customers Say
“Currently working with Mccarty on my new construction home. Extremely easy to deal with! My favorite contractor on my list. Anytime I call with a change or addition, they jump right on it and don’t try to nickel and dime you. They understand it’ll all come together in the end. Annie is very thorough and helpful with scheduling. Customer based company! Definitely recommend! Im attaching some pictures of the rough in they did on our fireplace. They ran conduits for tv power, data, electric insert in master, and mantle plugs. Easy to service wiring after the brick is finished👍”
“McCarty Electric just installed my 26kw generator. The price was excellent, the install was professional and the service was amazing. I would highly recommend them for your generator needs.”
“Because of all the recent storms and the power outages we've been having, I had finally made the decision to invest in a whole home generator. I already knew I wanted a Generac generator because of the 5 year warranty, and then another 5 year warranty once you register your generator with Generac. Also, after some research, I found that the life expectancy of a Generac is 25 to 30 years with proper maintenance. Generac has an option to purchase a well worth it extended warranty if you choose to do so that will take it beyond the 10 year warranty. This was a major investment for me and the Generac brand, the authorized dealer, and with the amount of work involved, the installer were all very important decisions for me because I needed a brand I could trust with a great warranty and I needed the dealer and installer to be someone I could trust to take care of me, my generator, and give me a fair honest price. Well, I got all three of those with McCarty Electric right here in town. I didn't want my money to go to a big chain store like Home Depot and who knows who they contract with to install the generator. With McCarty Electric, I felt better about keeping the money local and promoting a smaller business than a giant chain store and I can tell you that I do not regret my decision. Brian McCarty grew up here and has been an electrician for a long time now. McCarty Electric has been around and in business for a very long time as well so it felt like a home town friend when he came by to take a look at my the needs for my whole home generator. Very friendly and helpful and very honest with me about the installation process and the cost. The complete cost was well below what I was expecting and the investment is worth it to have my whole home powered for the next power outage. The peace of mind, the service, the install, and the amazing people that work at McCarty Electric were all priceless to me. Annie who works in the office is amazing and knowledgeable and very helpful. I got to work with her a few times to take care of the payment, all the questions I asked, and she even took care of scheduling for the gas company to come out and upgrade my meter to handle the generator running on natural gas. I'm not one to write many reviews and haven't written many at all, but McCarty Electric and all the staff deserve a good review and I couldn't be more comfortable and happy with my decision. Brian and all his staff made me feel very comfortable with this investment and have all been very friendly and helpful through the entire process and that's what makes a great business and make repeat customers. If I ever need anything else electrical related, my first and only call will be to McCarty Electric. Thank you McCarty Electric!”
“We had a appointment for them to show up to do some electrical work. They never showed up, never called. Just disappeared.”
“I've been using McCarty Electric to service my Generacg generator for the past 3 or 4 years. I do not have any complaints about the employees of this company, but the owner, Keith McCarty, is very rude. They serviced my generator in the beginning of January 2023 and at the end of February 2023 there was an issue with the battery on the generator. The company sent a technician out on February 23, 2023 to fix the problem and the company charged me another service fee for something that should have been taken care of in January. So when I talked to the owner, Keith McCarty, about my concerns with the invoice he was rude and aggressive. Near the end of the conversation he had the nerve to tell me that I was waisting his time. Needless to say I will no longer be using their services.”
