About
Davaco Inc is based in Irving, Texas and handles electrical work for facilities across the region. They have over 35 years in the business working with top brands on maintenance programs and multi-site projects throughout North America. The company manages electrical services alongside other trades to keep commercial properties in good shape. They deploy crews for installations, repairs, and long term care of building systems that include power setups and lighting. Homeowners often see them involved in larger chain locations where electrical issues need quick attention due to Texas weather affecting outdoor systems.
They send out calls for electrical and related services like HVAC repairs and plumbing fixes when issues arise at client sites. One review mentioned a service call in August for HVAC where the card was pulled after initial payment. They hold invoices for 30 days or more and often dispute charges even when pricing was agreed on ahead of time. A demolition contractor noted they pay promptly on some jobs but others report no returned calls and credit card problems that leave bills unpaid into November. Lawn care vendors in places like Ohio also described long waits for responses on Rite Aid locations and repeated invoice holds that stretch past standard terms.
Feedback shows repeated problems with communication and price disputes that drag out payments, though a few vendors mention faster handling on demolition work. Speed and quality get mixed marks depending on the job while price issues surface often in reviews from subcontractors. Overall the pattern points to unreliable follow through on vendor payments and callbacks. DIRT Score 2.71 from 46 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“We are a full service company who receives service requests from DAVACO for Plumbing and HVAC services. Long story short, THEY DO NOT PAY. Every invoice is heavily disputed, even when they are aware of the pricing up front. They like to put a credit card on file and then pull the card information right before the work is complete. That is even after the approval to do the work. On top of that, they like to cancel work orders at the last minute. Especially when they know that they have to pay at the time of service. We will no longer be providing any type of services to DAVACO!!!!! Definitely would give a negative star rating if it were possible.”
“Great company! We do a lot of demolition and they pay promptly even early with a discounted invoice. Don't understand all the negative reviews but they are our number 1 client!”
“This company is the worst to get paid from or a returned phone call, our havac company was called out to do work for them in August, paid for service call up front and then pulled credit card from file so we couldnt charge them the remaining, and here we are in November and still no payment, i have attempted to call the one who hired us (Josh Christenson) several times each week since then and he refuses to answer phone or return calls, made a call to the home office in Texas and as far as we got was to leave Brook in billing a message, and to this day still has not returned our call. also the greeting you get when you do call the number on the web is this is Maria Montez leave a message and i will reach back out to you. and still no return call. To bad you dont have the option to give 0 stars..”
“Do not do business with this company as a vendor. I own a lawncare company that services a Rite Aid in Ohio. Davaco claims to be a property management company but you can never get a call back from them. They have been terminated with Rite Aid according to them. They hold 30 days plus of invoices and do not want to pay at the end of season. I have had to deal with 3 different people bc they cannot keep anyone.”
“Some of the WORST project managers we’ve ever dealt with. Plus they will cancel work orders once you’re on-site. So basically they don’t pay their subs!”
