“I've had a great experience with Minton. They did a total rewire on a house I bought that had aluminum wiring. Their attention to detail was excellent, they explained the process very well and they kept a very clean work area. They worked with my contractor to schedule the job with minimal disruption to the remodel project, and their knowledge of codes and their advice was very thorough. For example, they were able to advise me on locating switches and outlets so that the house would be safer, more convenient and intuitive to live in on a daily basis. Their follow through and response to phone calls has always been quick and I've learned I can count on them whenever I have questions or an issue that needs addressing. Lastly, this was a big job and I think their pricing was fair and thoroughly detailed with no last minute surprises. I made changes during the process and each time I was advised on how that would impact the cost of the project, both up and down. Electrical systems are not something to skimp on. “I was selling a house and had them bring some things up to spec that the buyers of the home requested. The work was fine and well done. However, the communication and invoicing from the office was a nightmare. It involved repeated calls from me while I was living in another state where I was just requesting an invoice for their work so I could pay them and get the necessary documents showing I had made the necessary repairs so I could close on the home. On my last trip into town I finally went there in person and they were able to provide an invoice so I could finally pay them weeks later. Never have I had to work so hard to give someone my money.
