Stults Electric Company
Electrician · Jasper, TX
About
Stults Electric Company works as electricians based in Jasper Texas. They handle the wiring and power systems for homes and properties in a spot where storms roll through often and knock lines down without much warning. Homeowners in this part of the state deal with outages from hurricanes and heavy weather that hit the main supply hard and leave places dark for days. The crew knows the local grid from running service to rural spots and trailers that sit on older setups and need quick attention when lines fail or connections break. Electricians here spend time on restoration work after big events like the 2019 hurricane that took out power across the area and left folks waiting on crews to show up and get things running again.
They focus on outage response by sending linemen to hook up power once they reach the site and get the lines back in order after storms clear. Reviews mention fast work on those storm jobs where the main supply went down and power returned in a timely way once the team arrived. At the same time the outfit handles billing and deposits for new accounts with charges like two separate 250 dollar holds that stay in place for years without return and final bills that run higher than expected even for short periods or small places. Customers report issues with power shutoffs that happen without a set day given in advance and hit elderly residents in trailers where monthly costs climb to 1500 dollars or show up double what they paid in other towns like Willis.
Customers give credit for the quick linemen response on storm jobs but call out the deposit holds that drag on and the bills that spike without clear reason or notice on shutoffs. The pattern shows steady complaints on price and communication around account changes while speed on emergency line work gets some nods in the mix. DIRT Score 1.77 from 12 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“I give two big thumbs up. Power doesn't go out often compared to other places I've lived. When it does, it is back in an efficiently timely manner. Aside from the hurricane outage that took out the main supply in 2019. The linemen hook up power quickly once they arrive. I've noticed that all employees are quite courteous, but yes occasionally one may have a bad day. Only thing I wonder about is why the power they obtain doesn't come from our dam at Sam Rayburn?”
“This company charged us 2 deposits of 250.00 each. It's been 4 years and still no deposit back. Our electric bill is double what we paid in Willis Tx.”
“They love turning the power out on elderly people constantly and skyrocketing their bills, seriously who pays 1500 dollars for electricity in TRAILERS?!, and then will not tell you the day they will turn it off. Terrible stay away.”
“My bill for a one month cycle was $158. I moved and switched over from JNEC and my final bill is $155 and that's for only 10 days!”
“Just called to pay my bill because the website is down and I cant get the automated system on the phone to work either. I asked the lady can I pay the bill with her over the phone and she rudely says I guess so. And continued to be rude!”
