“I contacted Backup Electric via Facebook messenger and received a response within a couple hours. I requested to have a 50 amp generator plug installed. They had me send a pic of our panel for a quote and we’re able to get us scheduled for the next day. Javier texted me to let me know that he would be arriving within the hour. He showed up and had it all done within an hour. He was so professional and courteous. Highly recommend and will be using them again for future projects.”

“After seeing Backup Electric mentioned in NextDoor, I called to take care of a few projects from my home inspection and items I noticed after moving into my home. On the phone they answered all of my questions and quoted a reasonable price plus were able to set an appointment for the following week. (I called on Friday and they came on Monday.) Jose A and Angel P came today and were ready to solve my issues. This is a small detail, but I was thrilled that they first turned off the power at my meter before touching my electrical panel. This doesn't always happen and when it does, it shows good attention to safety. Angel and Jose replaced a breaker for my AC and figured out why my garage outlets were not working. The included picture explains the garage plugs and also shows that no one should ignore when a GFCI stops working. With a new one installed everything works perfectly. They also asked if there was anything else I needed and I asked them to check my shower can light since it was not very bright. I then had them replace the fixture with a bright (damp space approved) LED. (This did require a quick trip to the hardware store, but they were back promptly to finish the job.) Since I added the shower light fixture, the price did go up a bit (reasonably) from the original quote. I'm very satisfied with the team at Backup Electric and I plan to call them for future electrical needs.”
