Electrician · Killeen, TX
About
R A Fisher Electric sends electricians out from their base at 20815 Wolfridge Rd in Killeen, Texas. Ronnie runs the outfit and fields calls for electrical repairs and installations around the area. The crew handles tasks such as updating outlets to meet current codes and adding power lines for remodels.
Homeowners have called them in to correct faulty wiring throughout older houses, install GFCI protection in garages and bathrooms, and separate light switches that shared circuits with outlets. One job involved running new lines and hanging fixtures during a kitchen remodel. The same customer later learned from a home inspector that none of those fixes had been completed despite payment of over twelve hundred dollars across two invoices. Another customer requested a price for four hours of work and received a quote of seventy nine dollars for the first hour plus sixty two for each additional hour, yet ended up charged four hundred nine dollars once two electricians arrived on site.
Ronnie answers the phone and stays reachable even during busy stretches. The electricians themselves show up on time and handle the physical work without issues. Office staff quote rates over the phone but have left out details about extra charges for a second man, which created confusion once the bill arrived. Service stays limited to the Killeen area with no mention of extended hours or weekend availability in the records.
Google lists a three point six rating from five reviews, with complaints centering on billing surprises and work that did not hold up to later inspection. Positive notes mention Ronnie's direct manner. DIRT Score 1.6 from 5 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“The Electricians were nice and professional, however the front office did not explain how the company charges you for their work. I called asking for a price. The Woman said the first hour would be 79 dollars and any additional hours wound be 62 dollars. The work took 4 hours which should have cost me 265 dollars however the bill was 409 dollars when I asked about the bill the Electrician said that since they sent two guys the bill would be 409 dollars. I told him that the woman on the phone did not mention anything about paying the second electrician and he said that he would talk to her. The bottom line is this place is a RIP OFF. I called this business in good faith and got CHEATED. I recommend whoever needs electrical work RUN from R A FISHER as fast as you can.”
“My husband and I have complete different views of this company (he's the other review). I've already paid this company $1200+ to fix issues with my house not having GFCI up to date back in 2008 and 2009. Receipt 1 - "repair faulty & miswired wiring throughout home" was to fix the GFCI outside, in the garage, and in both bathrooms, as well separate a light switch and outlet that were connected to each other. Receipt 2 - "run power and hang lights in kitchen remodel" was to fix all the issues in the kitchen wiring and install new lights. I keep records of everything for this reason. Now I'm trying to sell my house and the home inspector said none of this was done. I called RA Fisher and apparently it's not their problem and they don't have time to fix it before I close on my house and plus it's been so long. How was I to know their employee didn't do the job I paid them for, I'm not an electrician, until the home inspector came out when I was selling my home? They get 2 stars for telling my husband how to fix it so I didn't have to pay hundreds more to have it done, but they will never get my business again and I'm sharing this ordeal with every one of my facebook groups as ”
“Extremely helpful. Ronnie (owner) is a very busy yet always approachable man. 10/10 would recommend.”
