“Electric Bill has increased every year for the past 17 years. Now we have more months approaching $400 than not. According to them, it's my fault for "increased usage." Much to the disagreement of my wallet, I have spent the better part of the last two decades investing in energy efficient devices, to include the biggest users (refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioner.) Yet it hasn't made a dent to stop this rapid climb. The only thing we haven't done at this point is solar. Had a couple of instances where I need to speak to someone and got tired of waiting on hold, so I simply drove there. When I show up at the building, no one ever comes to the window anymore. When I go inside, I am met with an empty hallway of a room with a singular table and phone with a laminated instruction to call PEC. ***You read that right folks, you go to PEC property and no one will help you, you have to call them and wait on hold anyway.***”
