Smart Wire Electric LLC

Smart Wire Electric LLC operates as the electrician crew based in Lakeside, Texas. They handle residential electrical work across the local area where summers run hot enough to strain home systems and storms can knock out power without much warning. The outfit takes on jobs that keep houses wired right for daily use and handles the kind of fixes that come up when older setups start to fail under the load. Homeowners in Lakeside deal with these issues often enough that having a reliable crew nearby makes a difference when something shorts out or needs an upgrade to handle modern demands.

They perform residential electrician services that cover remodeling electrical work on existing homes, new build electrical installations from the ground up, interior lighting and wiring updates, plus electric vehicle outlets for those adding chargers. In practice this means tracing faults in panels after a storm, running new lines during kitchen or room additions, setting up safe outlets that meet code, and making sure lighting stays consistent without flickering or overloads. The crew shows up with the tools to test circuits on the spot, pulls permits when required, and works around the house layout so disruptions stay short while getting power back where it belongs.

Customers keep coming back because the work holds up under Texas conditions and gets done without dragging on for days longer than needed. They notice solid quality in the finished wiring and outlets that do not need callbacks, fair pricing that matches the scope without surprise add-ons, and clear communication on timelines so plans do not get derailed. Speed shows in how quick they respond to calls about outages or install requests. DIRT Score 4.83 from 85 reviews on Finds.

“Kevin and his team of highly qualified licensed electricians came out the day I called him for a quote on up-dating the electric service panel. Navopache Electric red lined my home as the electric wires went over the top of the house which is a code violation. Kevin and his team worked expeditiously to get my electrical power restored and up to code. Always answered my calls or returned my call in a matter of minutes. This is the kind of service everyone should expect. Kevin and his wife visited my home January when the night temperatures where below freezing and put antifreeze in all the drains to prevent the pipes from freezing and turned off the water supply line to make sure those pipes did not freeze either. Kevin was always responsive to my every request. Great bunch of technicians”

“Kevin showed up on time, assessed and solved my electrical issues immediately. He offered to look at my breaker and found two issues that were out of current code and corrected the deficiency. I asked if he and his capable assistant could look at my Directv Genie connection and they willingly did so. Way above expectations! Thank you, Kevin!”

“Kevin and his apprentice arrived before the appointed time, were friendly, explained everything clearly, worked diligently, corrected errors made by the original construction electricians and double checked their own work. I am very satisfied with the whole experience and will certainly call them for any future electrical work.”

“I called and got their technician, Kevin, he was friendly, came out immediately, and he was efficient. Kevin diagnosed two separate problems quickly and resolved each without having to leave the property. I will use them for every electrical need in the future!”

“We have used Kevin and Mallory @ Smartwire for several projects including new fixtures/upgrades and repairs. They were always timely, accurate and friendly. They had great solutions to our ideas and did top shelf work to finish it all off. Highly recommend this local company for all your electrical needs.”

“We recently had a Tesla Level 2 charger installed and had an outstanding experience working with Kevin, the owner. From the very beginning, he was professional, confident, and clearly knowledgeable about his trade. I received three different estimates, and not only was his the most competitive, he was by far the most confident in the work being performed. Kevin sent two of his team members to complete the installation, and they were extremely professional, respectful of our home, and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. The installation was done flawlessly and everything works exactly as expected. The next time I saw Kevin, he even took the time to help me figure out how to hang patio lights and drew out a plan for me — something completely outside the scope of the origi”
