About

Bud Anderson Home Services works as electricians based in Lowell, TX. Their operation covers power needs for local homes and draws from a setup that also handles cooling, heating, and plumbing across the broader region. Crews focus on sorting out wiring problems, panel upgrades, and circuit installations that keep houses running without constant outages. Homeowners around Lowell reach out when dealing with overloaded systems or failed outlets, and the company responds with crews who know the local grid and how Texas homes are built.

Lowell summers push air conditioning units hard, so these electricians spend plenty of time running dedicated circuits and fixing connections strained by the heat. They handle storm damage repairs after heavy winds knock out lines, replace outdated fuse boxes with safer panels, and install lighting or outlets in additions without cutting corners on the work. The approach stays straightforward: show up with the right tools, test everything twice, and leave the place clean so the next call can focus on the next job rather than cleanup.

Customers keep coming back because the work gets done on time, the fixes hold up through the seasons, and the crews explain what needs doing without extra charges showing up later. Price stays reasonable for the parts and hours involved, and communication stays clear from the first visit to the final check. That pattern across a large number of jobs builds the standing they have in the area. DIRT Score 4.78 from 8034 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

“This started small and became a larger issue that I was pretty certain that we were a year or two away from anyway. Had a simple Pressure Reducing Valve go bad at my household shutoff valve. It was located in an area that was inaccessible (to a novice like me), and we were concerned with the damage that could potentially occur to other household appliances and fixtures. Very quick response from the agent on the phone (I want to say that her name was Wendy). She contacted a tech who responded within about 40 minutes! The tech, Zack Reed, confirmed that the PRV was indeed defective and that he could replace it. He also confirmed my fear that the water heater, which was 20 years old this year, would likely fail soon, and gave me a very complete list of options with prices. As I’d always ”

“Ruben was super nice and explained everything. He was able to identify the problem quickly too. Curtis was very nice and informative. We ended up going with a new hvac system because our A coil on last system went out and we were told it was outdated, and only a year warranty on the part if we chose that way. It cost a lot, we have 10yr warranty on labor and parts, and the job was done. Have included pictures of finished job inside. Will include outside pictures soon. Installer told husband to frame in furnace so to hide the hole left behind. The black pipe hanging is fresh air intake pipe, final install says it is suppose to sit unconnected like that. Curtis did bring a grill grate on his visit for us to install to cover hole👍🏼”

“I contacted Bud Anderson to have my AC system inspected because I was experiencing inconsistent error codes on my thermostat and the system was not operating properly. The technician who came out was very thorough, professional, and courteous during the visit. However, after completing the inspection, I was told that repairing the system would cost at least several thousand dollars and that the recommended solution was to replace the entire system at a cost of approximately $8,000. As a single mother, that is a significant financial burden. I spent weeks stressing over how I would afford such an expense, especially knowing that my son and I would be facing the hottest months of the year without reliable air conditioning. During that time, we experienced several very uncomfortable days whil”

“So thankful for Bud Andersons quick response in sending our Electrician out same day for an emergency. Grayson Corbin showed up, quickly assessed the situation and gave us transparent and clear pricing. We had an exposed main electrical line and he called out the danger and worked with his team to prioritize getting it fixed within 24 hours of the initial emergency. He was respectful, efficient and transparent in his work. We have now become subscribers of Bud Anderson and have canceled other services because they are a one stop shop.”

“It was quick, expensive compared to competitors and corners cut. The speed at which they delivered was good. I had initially contacted another company as I had heard good things about them. They forwarded me to Bud Anderson, which I had been warned about. So I let the guy come out and measure everything to give me an estimate. I was sold, because of how quick things were going to move. I needed a new unit. I knew it. So from start to mostly finished it was merely two days. They did it early on a Satruday. For the expense compared to other companies I have since talked to, they should have done a perfect job. They compacted a lot of insulation around the unit in the attic. Which renders it less effective. They did not do a good job taping the unit in the attic. Very rough and likely small a”

“Jose was amazing! I couldn't believe how quick they got the old system out and the new installed. He explained what he was doing and was so very polite. They cleaned everything up and left us cool after several hot days. Thank you so much!”

“This company came to service out home AC unit this morning. Quoted us $289 per pound of freon, said we may need 6+ units. Recommended we purchase a new unit. Quoted a thermostat for $279 plus installation. We paid the service call and called another company. The A frame condenser needed cleaned ,a new thermostat was installed. We paid $270 to other company for total service and AC works great now. Do not recommend this company tries to take advantage of senior citizens. Shame on them.”

“Friday night on Memorial day weekend the power to half our house went out. Called Bud Anderson Saturday morning and they had Dwayne at our house around 2 that afternoon. He was very kind and knowledgeable. He helped us with a temporary repaire until they could get the electric company to schedule in for a full repair. Overall, he was amazing to work with and we will definitely work with him in the future.”

“Chance at Bud Anderson was FANTASTIC!!! Fixed my issue quickly, great person, and did a great job. We’re going to be lifelong Bud Anderson customers now”
