“After about 8 months of researching solar systems, talking to multiple companies and door to door salesmen I was most impressed with Hub City Solar by far. My first interaction was with Jon. From the outset, Jon was far less salesman feel and instead offered real knowledge of the systems he sold, the industry as a whole and he was exceedingly honest. He listened, understood what I was needing and we built a plan together. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with! Separate from Hub City, I went ahead and replaced the roof in preparation for this which actually was the longest and most tedious part of the process. The roof turned out great as did the solar install. In the peak of summer the system saves us about $325 a month. We have averaged about $175-$200 savings a month outside of peak summer. Hub City Solar beat other "locals" and out of town salesmen type companies alike by 10's of thousands of dollars. The quotes of other companies were just ridiculous and offered very little if any ROI. With the cost of our system, our ROI is exactly on pace that I calculated it to be. We are coming up on 2 years since install and I just love the system and the freedom it represents. We have maintained a very predictable electric bill the last two years. We had one annoying set back totally out of the control of Hub City Solar. The only 1:1 buyback provider cut the full 1:1. I had factored that in as a possibility so when it happened it was annoying but just a reality. It slightly impacted our ROI but on average is costing us about $30 more a month. Our next goal is a battery install. We will see if the time ever becomes right. I will close with these guys are right here in our community. We go to church with one of them and have got the pleasure of getting to know others. They are here to stay unlike the out of towners we were flooded with during the ERCOT switch. 2 years in and still thankful for Jon and team at Hub City Solar.”

They did a very nice clean looking job! The boxes where mounted in aesthetically pleasing places. The conduit bends looks amazing and they routed the conduit through the soffit vs over the roof. They don't mount panels over vents/plumbing vents They even helped me find a new power provider to fully utilize the benefits of going solar”
