The panel was completely full, and because there was no room for additional breakers, a previous HVAC installer had combined the primary heating and emergency heating onto a single breaker. “I needed a broken ceiling fan replacement along with a few other things so I looked for a local electrician, and I am so glad I selected Cool Hand. The entire experience was great I called and someone picked up within a few rings and was able to walk me through the process and see someone the same day. I believe her name was Rebecca and the second time I called someone named Bella picked up they were both kind, prompt, and helpful. The electrician who came to my house, Shiloh, is simply amazing. He's kind and knowledgeable and was able to answer any question I had for him. I think I told him I love you and you're amazing over 5 times. He quickly fixed my ceiling fan (thank goodness I need it in this Texas heat!), he fixed the plugs in the kitchen island and was able to fix a room where plugs were not working. The cost was very reasonable and while he was there he was able to do a walk through any other concerns I have while checking for any safety issues. I plan to use Cool Hand for some more work we need done they were great at breaking down cost, the estimated time a job could take, if only partial power would need to be turned off, and offering monthly payments if needed. Shiloh Gill came out for the service call and greeted everyone in my family, even our youngest child with warmth and friendliness. He patiently listened to what I wanted to accomplish, then conducted the most comprehensive electrical report I have ever seen (for free). He identified a large number of safety issues complete with photos and linked to potential code violations. Not once did he try to upsell me, but rather pointed out how I could save money instead. He wrote up a very detailed report and left it with us including recommendations and invoicing should we decide to move forward. It was easily one of the best, if not the best, service calls from any vendor I have been on the receiving end of. Oh, did I forget to mention, the service call was $69. “I scheduled Cool Hand to get a bid on repairing a broken conduit carrying the power to my pool equipment. They did a great job scheduling and the electrician, Troy, was prompt and professional. However, I was not happy that they have an upsell business model. Rather than look at and bid my job, I was told that their service included an “electrical safety inspection”. Troy went through my entire property and noted a number of things that needed attention. My home was built in 1977, so I’m sure there are a number of electric issues that could use attention. After an hour and a half, I was present with 5 options of ways we could proceed, the top tier of which was $22,091, down to $1271, to do the repair I called them about. I chose another company that repaired my issue for $980. I can’t rate their workmanship, but I don’t care for their business practices. I would give Troy 5 stars. He was great and just doing his job.”

Tory showed me what to look for so I could exchanged the 4 fans. He told me when I got them to call and get back on the schedule. Got back on for Monday but received a call saying he could be at my house around 4. They arrived started over putting in the fans..I was sure happy about getting them installed . “I called for somebody to come out and give an estimate to replace the electrical box. Very surprised and happy that an actual thorough inspection around the house was done and not just the box itself. Address alot of details that other electricity companies miss or don't check. The report is very detailed, listing in the order of priority with attaching pricing. Pricing is on the higher end but there is financing option, membership option. If i was to buy an old house and concern with the electrical system, i'd highly recommend to have them come out to do the inspection.”
