Acgc Electrical Contractors

Acgc Electrical Contractors handles electrical work as electricians based in McAllen, TX. The business operates as AG Electric and covers the Rio Grande Valley along with other parts of Texas after more than 40 years in the trade. Art leads the crew on jobs that range from basic installations to bigger upgrades in homes. Reviewers note the team handles stove hookups and full electrical system changes without extra complications.

Customers call them in for stove installations in family homes and for replacing old wiring in 1970s mobile homes that no longer meet current needs. Art and the crew fixed problems in older mobile homes where access was tight and brought systems up to safe levels. One customer described how the group completed an upgrade that had been challenging due to the age of the setup and left everything running without issues. Another mentioned they took care of a sudden problem on the spot after other outfits could not respond.

The crew shows up when promised and keeps homeowners updated during the work. Reviewers point out fair pricing and quick arrival times that beat what others offered. Art stays on site to limit how long power stays off and handles requests without pushback. Service reaches across the Rio Grande Valley and into additional Texas areas based on the calls they take.

Google shows a 4.6 rating across the eight reviews with frequent notes on clear updates from the crew and solid results on repairs. One review stands out for a missed callback that left the customer waiting. DIRT Score 2.9 from 8 reviews on Finds.

“I highly recommend this company! They recently helped my grandmother with the installation of a new stove, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Their team was very communicative throughout the process, keeping us informed every step of the way and answering any questions we had promptly. They were professional, punctual, and clearly took pride in their work. The installation was completed efficiently and with great attention to detail, ensuring everything was working perfectly before they left. It's refreshing to work with a company that genuinely cares about customer service and quality workmanship. We are very grateful for their help and would not hesitate to use their services again in the future.”
